The 3 players you mentioned were a big part of the comeback. They probably got tired at the end.

I support Luke on this 1. A PJ tactic. It's sending a message to the players without being confrontational about it. If you wanna get minutes, either play consistent, play within the system or hustle and defend if youre having an off night shooting.

Im glad he's showing tough love to Russell and Randle cause it seems like their out there playing JV basketball and their supposed to be out future ?!?

The law firm of Lou, Nick, and Clarkson.

Randle: your attitude bothers me at times. Stop letting refs derail you from having a good game. They don't care if you sulk & you are not a superstar. You are only hurting yourself, your teammates when you start zoning out, which is happening almost game to game. Give the Lakers a reason to throw a max extension at you when you become a RFA next season.

D'Lo: don't be a punk. Everyone thinks you are for last season, and those sentiments have been revived again after your row with Lillard. News flash - you haven't done jack in this league to garner respect. Keep your head down and work or LA will get to you kid. You've been given the keys to the team of a very storied organization. Rise to the challenge.

OP: do you think one or two out of the 3 should be traded?

I do think at least one or two of them should be traded. They are all 3 shoot first wing players. We don't need three of them. I would keep Young, and put Lou and Clarkson on the block for a draft pick.

Clarkson IS a young guy but he doesn't play a team game. Never has.

How can Lou be a shoot first wing player when he's allegedly our best PG? Maybe it's his defense.

Lou is a shoot first wing player who got us 7 assists. One thing is not like the other. But hey, actually watching games and forming an opinion off of that is hard work, much easier to just repeat what others say.

Iverson averaged almost 7 assists per game.

No one would call him a "PG." He was just a short "SG." (and devastating).

Sure, in the 90's, back when those terms were valid. Lou is a wing player in today's terminology. And shooting first is a funny way to end up with assists.

He's a strange player in the sense he seems to be able to pass but his first inclination is to create his own shot, often the "getting fouled" variety.

He could theoretically run a team but has never really done so.

But it sucks to watch as a fan.

not if your a Lakers fan that enjoys seeing Lou, JC and Swaggy perform well. As I pointed out last night, their jersey's are as purple and gold as any other players. This childish fantasy player mentality of only wanting the team to do well if your favorite players get credit has to stop.

Also, repeating myself from last night....if you do not know the definition of "chucker" maybe you should quit using it. A chucker is a poor shooter who throws anything towards the rim and prays it goes in. DLo shoots the ball more than any other Laker, yet has a lower FG% than Lou, Nick or JC. By definition, he would be more likely to be considered a "chucker" than the other 3....which I do not consider him a "chucker" either.

Luke left those guys in because they captured the early season magic of the bench unit. It is a change of pace and aggressive offensive scheme. Every time some posters see the offense operating in a way that does not resemble, "GSW Lite", they began posting things about "iso" and "ball hogging". What you saw last night is neither, nor is it all about looking like GSW, yet it seeks an optimal opportunity to score and is highly efficient. Raise your own BBall IQ, before claiming any unit that does not run the one offense that was sold to you in current media and you think you understand has a low BBIQ.

I think with these 3 guys last night it was all about effort. These guys fought not only on the defensive end, but were getting to the paint and hitting shots. They were at least getting multiple deflections, and causing havoc on defense in the 4th. Unfortunately these deflections ended up still with the Nuggets last night, but it was great to see they were getting after it defensively to cause these deflections.
