So if somehow we got Fultz and kept everyone together then Fultz and DLO would just be the backcourt as a duo of combo guards yeah?
I actually prefer DLO off ball anyways
no doubt. They're both so long, I think it'd work well - but I'm optimistic that Dlo can guard SGs. He's as tall as Bradley Beal and a good deal longer
One of the most tantalizing additions to me would be another transition dynamo - DLo, Ingram, Randle - all have great potential in transition. Add another player who's good there, especially a passer - and our team attacks from all angles and the ball's moving everywhere.
Think Fultz would handle the SGs. More strength. Same height/length as DLO. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

I'm the other way. Fultz is only 6'3.5, DLo 6'5.. I wana see a harrasing PG defender, although Dlo's length is impactful on them - Fultz is really long for a PG as well. A quick, bulldog, long defender at the 1?
I also think Dlo is stronger, he's big now.. Came in the league at 200 and now he's bigger
Multiple defensive plays, dropped to level of basketball, a few swats near the rim, set up teammates well, played on/off ball about 60/40, responsible for roughly 55 total team points.
What more can you ask of the kid? Just FT%. Stellar game.
Zu
Randle/Nance
Ingram
Russell/Clarkson
Fultz
I love the idea of that as a core going forward. DLO would really need to evolve in the strength department but it could work really well.
Another guy who I really like, in the little bit of non U of A basketball I watch, is Jonathan Isaac. Kid has incredible length, great defensive instincts, and a good shooting touch.
Zu
Randle/Nance
Isaac
Ingram
Russell/Clarkson
The length on the perimeter the length would be a major problem for other teams

Need to see the official measurement. Hoops Summit is 6'4.75", then down to 6'3" again. As you know I only rely on NBA PreDraft measurements.
I don't think Fultz will ever be a bulldog at PG/SG, but he seems to be in the right place and doesn't get his steals by wingspan, but rather by position. Bodes well.
Fultz is somewhere between 185/195, but as expected PreDraft camp may have him gain 5-10lbs. as he gets ready for the NBA draft. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Jonathan Isaac
23/10 7 blocks.
Think he's more of a longer term development player, especially with the depth that FSU plays and splits the PT.
He REALLY needs strength. Porzingis and Ingram don't get pushed around too badly for skinny guys, but Isaac does.
Still, NCAA 3pt. range. Swat power. Runs floor. Height. Wingspan. 9' standing reach. But worst case, Jonathan Bender (that we never got to see healthy) _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Impressive. Looks to have some of that unicorn in his game. 3 point shooting/Shot blocking _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though."
Watching this Texas/Kansas game. Really liking Texas' Center Jarret Allen. Never heard of him before but he's really popping off the screen with his mobility/athleticism, touch and semblance of a jumper. 6'11 with a 7'5.5 wingspan
Looked him up on DX and he's ranked 21 right now in their mock, so I doubt he makes it to our 2nd rounder, but perhaps he could be an option if we flip Lou or Nick at the deadline for a late first.
Is Jawun Evans really going to stick in the second round? I'm just watching his highlights and like what I see. Have no idea what he's like on defense. I think the Lakers should put a premium on defense with their 2nd rounder if there's not an upside player hanging around, but this kid looks interesting. Makes great plays but looks like he's turnover prone too

I am always amazed @ how tall Christ Koumadje of FSU looks on the court....Ojo is 7'1", and Koumadje makes him look like an undersized PF when they are beside each other.
Ball with 15/5/3 at half. 3 of 6 from 3 _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though."

If I am a GM, I dont think I could pass on Jonathan Isaac. He will not be ROY, but in 2-3 years, there is a chance he makes those that passed on him look for new employment. 6'10-6'11...good athlete, has 3 point range, rebounds the ball, improving his ball handling this year. Shoots over 80% from free throw line just to add context to the nice touch he has on shot for a guy with that size.
