Can y'all promise me this though:

IF the Lakers somehow keep their top 3 pick this year.. can we PLEASE not turn on one another and join "teams." Can we just be happy that we avoided having to give a draft pick to Philly again and that we'll be getting yet another top 3 pick to add to our already promising young core?

Please. Lol.

Lol....last year was so easy....this year could get nasty!

Lakers need some Cleveland luck, getting 3 #1 draft picks out of 4 years.

Sixers 8-3 in last 11 (8-1 when Embiid plays)

Minny 9-10 in last 19....

Heat with 3 in a row! How long will Dragic be a Heat?

Mavs 8-9 in last 17....

Suns 5-6 in last 11....

I heard Zach Lowe state that when Embiid plays, 76'ers have a point differential of like a 53 win team, and in the games he has not played, it is that of a single digit win team.

That 2nd spot in the lottery is up for grabs.

That's unbelievable. Literally MVP-type impact... as a rookie!

Now that playoffs are out of the picture and we're knocking on the door for the 2nd pick, I'm all aboard the tank. That Detroit loss was the turning point of the season for me.

Unfortunately, you can't plan to be lucky.
So this thread is pointless.

• Trade Lou for a 1st round pick and draft Terrance Ferguson

• Trade Nick Young and Thomas Robinson for Mario Hezonja

• Somehow get the #1 pick and draft Markelle Fultz

• Get Zubac big minutes

• Sign Justin Holiday or resign Nick Young

PG: Fultz / Clarkson
SG: Russell / Hezonja / Ferguson
SF: Ingram / Holiday
PF: Randle / Deng / Black
C: Zubac / Nance / Mozgov

Plus 2nd round pick plus vet min

You can plan to put yourself in a better situation to be lucky though, no? A 55% chance at a top 3 pick is certainly better than a 29% chance lol.

You lost me already on some of those. We'll be lucky to get a 2nd rounder for Nick at this point since we're going to lose our 2nd rounder the next 2 years to Orlando once we keep our first round pick for 2017, and 2019.

I love your optimism lol.

Plus, I think what Nick Young has given this team is worth *way* more than what any 2nd rounder in a draft could provide.

Giving up Nick could impact Russell/Randle's playmaking for sure. That could hurt their development, I guess they could start JC in his place though, who hasn't been lights out from 3 like Nick. He's also less likely to adopt a spot up shooter role than Nick

All I have to say is the NBA owes us this final pick for the CP3 fiasco.

That's been said for the last 3 drafts.

But, yes, yes the NBA does.

One more high pick solidifies our future completely, best young core in the league... Well, damn, Philly is getting another pick aren't they. Still think we'd be right up there

Sure, if you believe Russell is actually a good player, Clarkson is actually a good player, Randle can make a shot outside of 10 feet, and Ingram develops into a an offensive player and puts on 30 pounds of muscle.

If you believe hard enough these things may be true.

Then there's the negative outlook, sure --- But yes I do believe in our young talent. Including Zubac
