His jump shot is decent. He seems hell bent on passing the ball. He's the anti Robinson who will shoot everything |

Yeah. I think it just stems from a general timidity about making mistakes. It's kind of like Anthony Brown, except Nance is actually good. |

I'm not expecting much from Larry on Sunday if he plays.. but man.. did the Lakers miss him during his absence. Tarik Black and Thomas Robinson are good.. but man Nance brings so much more than those two. |

Can't wait. Fingers crossed he provides the energy and defense we've been missing (until tonight). Would love to have a nice little run going into February. |

LA forward Larry Nance Jr. has been cleared to practice and to play in limited minutes Sunday at Dallas after missing the past 16 games with a bone bruise in his left knee.
Nance suffered the injury Dec. 20 at Charlotte and has been sidelined ever since. 2 hours ago – via ESPN |

Nance, JC and Ingram may be our best defensive lineup patrolling the perimeter. |

Even if he plays for 8-10 minutes I bet the team is gonna feed off from his return. |

I'm glad to have him back, he was a vital part of why our bench was so explosive to start the year |

I agree. Nance with an outside shot would be awesome for the Lakers. |

Larry Nance, Jr Has Been Sorely Missed
Quote: | Since neither Lou Williams nor Jordan Clarkson are prototypical PGs, Luke Walton chose to primarily stick to ball screens in early offensive situations, allowing his guards to attack without the burden of having to set up the offense. It takes a fairly specific skill set for a front court player to execute and thrive in this style of play. Not only must he be capable of setting quality screens, but he needs to be fast enough to get up court and set them before the defense is set. Furthermore, because it is considerably more difficult to get out and run after the opponent scores, he also needs to be a plus defender. Larry Nance, Jr. is the only player on the Lakers who checks off of each of these boxes, making him integral to the bench’s success.

To be fair...to yourself... he didn't really come in until the game was approaching wasteland levels. |
