If you're a drag racer this will be a car to look at no doubt.
I kinda like challengers but they weigh a little too much for me to purchase one
200 pounds lighter I hear. Still heavier than the Mustangs and Camaros but it's a start. _________________ "I'm Magic before retirement, illest in the game."
I was guessing it would have something like 725 hp, but I read an article somewhere claiming upwards of 850hp. Either way, I thought they were going to shrink the car some to lighten it up. There is a pic out there too, from FF8. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest
It's just a barely street legal drag car. But who cares if it's street legal if you can't even have one passenger? I'm sure there'll be an option to add a second seat but still.
That makes this car nothing new other than its drivetrain. I'm sure it'll be fast at the strip with those drag radials, AWD, and a monster power. But you can buy ready built dragsters from other manufacturers already. Cobra jet anyone?

Low sales numbers doomed the car. Yeah, it was a halo car and they probably took a loss but if nobody is buying it what else can the company do?
Yeah, but the ACR was a beast of a car; and a performance bargain to boot...
And a total PITA to drive.
This coming from a guy that enjoys driving Lotus all the time.
Mike, you've driven the new Quadrifoglio?
Haven't had the chance yet. But honestly, it'll probably drive like a more compliant E90 BMW anyway. If I had the $, I'd get it anyway.
Doesn't even have to be the Quadrifoglio either. I'm good with a base, change out the wheels and I'd add subtle lip spoilers anyway. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Disappointing IMO.

May as well just tune the Hellcat at that point. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Exactly!!
Good luck with your guy's Alphas. I like the Grand Tour review of that car
