Damn. Good effort. Wall just took over.

What really killed us was the bench getting slaughtered in the 2nd. Against this trash Wizards bench, that's unacceptable. Well, that and turnovers of course.

Randle shouldn't have seen playing time tonight

Agreed. Get 100% first!

Not Luke's fault for the loss or mounting losses, because players have to play and execute the gameplan. However, Luke REALLY needs to shorten his rotation. Lakers need a trade or two big time. Time to commit (rightly or wrongly) to certain players and jettison the rest. The rotation is way too long and far too many minutes are being given to the bench. Starting Lineup needs a shakeup as well.

Just trade Nick and Lou, and I'm good. Can root for the team in peace again with no conflicts.

On a side note, I would love it if the Wizards beat the Cavs in the playoffs.

If they got Carmelo with just moving Morris they may have a chance.

A starting lineup of

John Wall
Bradley Beal
Otto Porter
Carmelo Anthony
Marcin Gortat

Would be a perfect foil for the Cavs.

Outside of that, they won't.

Really don't like the JC/DLO/Lou 3 guard line-up. No synergy there. Would've much rather seen JC/Lou/Nick to close.

How is it dumb? You're down 6. You hit a 3, you just have to play defense for a possession. Otherwise it becomes the FT game.

I agree that we needed a 3, but I wish we could have gotten better shots. DLo took one 3 feet behind the line and then Lou shot one falling out of bounds.

Fun to see Dlo creating offense for the team and being on a triple double pace for most of the night. Too many turnovers, of course, but at least one of those was not his fault as Moz just didn't turn to see the ball and had the bounce pass hit him in the face.

I thought a 27 foot open 3 pointer from DLO is a pretty good shot, although he bricked it badly.

The Lou shot was actually bad, I agree with you there.

Disagree. JC I question, I agree with Nick for his defense, but Lakers are way better with DLO on the floor.

Randle was the turd in the swimming pool tonight.

That's why I don't really put much value in the stats they always post about the Lakers bench outscoring the opponents bench. The Wizards starters outscored the Lakers starters 100-54. Were they twice as good? No, its just a measure of minutes distribution.

I'm with you on JC. To much ISO, poor shot selection and IMO he's selfish.

Add Moz to that swimming pool.

The small lineup with Nance at center held its own, brought a lot of energy offensively. But I still don't know how teams get so many wide-open 3s against us without someone breaking down the defense.
