Nance HAS to make better decisions off the short roll when teams are trapping DLo.

Got screwed over by the drunken official scorer. 1 steal, 0 blocks. Yeah, right.

That no-look pass he threw behind his head to DLo was filthy. I wish Russell had made that shot so Larry's pass would forever be on his highlight reel. Dude is an underrated facilitator.

Larry Nance Jr. Believes Lakers ‘Going Home A Better Team’ After Grammy Trip

Quote:
One of the Lakers’ better players on this trip was Larry Nance Jr. who only returned from an injury just a couple of weeks ago. Nance was excellent throughout the trip averaging 10.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals, but he wasn’t the only one as D’Angelo Russell, Brandon Ingram, Nick Young and others all had their moments.

It looks like we won't have to worry about a Grammy trip next season.

Doing grunt work makes Larry Nance Jr. a valuable asset for Lakers

Quote:
On a team dependent on rotations, where few starting spots are guaranteed, the Lakers have tried so many different groups that nearly every player has had a shot at least once this season.

Oddly enough, the one player who hasn’t started yet is one of the Lakers’ most important pieces — Larry Nance Jr.

In the Lakers’ five games in February so far, Nance has averaged 10.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 assists. His double-double against the Knicks last Monday was his fourth of the season.

I couldn't directly link the clip, but check the last clip from the Bucks game, "MISS Russell 24' jumpshot," for Larry's disgusting pass.

The Globetrotters actually drafted Nance before he declared himself eligible for the NBA.
Quote:
After defying gravity with his breath-taking dunks, forward Larry Nance Jr. seemed eager to learn some new tricks following Monday’s practice. Nance met with Harlem Globetrotters player Anthony “Buckets” Blakes, both of whom went to University of Wyoming, though not at the same time.

The Globetrotters actually drafted Nance before he declared himself eligible for the NBA. Blakes believed Nance would have excelled with the Globetrotters because of three qualities.

“They’re looking for great athletes. He’s one of them,” Blakes said of Nance. “They’re looking for basketball skills. He has that. They’re looking for a certain personality. He has that. He has a cool demeanor and is laid back.”

I would never fault Larry for not being able to guard Cousins. That isn't a negative thing.

Fantastic mentality by the kid. Doesn't shift blame to the other four on the court or the coach. You can tell wearing this jersey means a lot to him as well. He's going to be a solid pro for many years and I hope he spends his prime with us.

I believe he was originally until he got injured and he took himself out. Probably being cautious.

Kinda wish Larry was in the Rising Stars game, I'd probably take Nance over Kaminsky based off in-game impact but Kaminsky plays more minutes and didn't get hurt over the season.
