Why is no one talking about this show? I can only guess none of you have been watching it. I just started watching it on a whim a few weeks ago with little clue as to what it was about and what good fortune. I love it as much as Game of Thrones but with pirates. If you have any affinity of reading Treasure Island, this show will knock your socks off. The ship battles are epic. It's in season 3 ATM. It does start out slow for the first half of first season. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it. |

Been watching this show since day 1.
I'm glad too. Im sure it's a tough show to marathon since it is VERY dialogue heavy.
It definitely fills the hole for "epic" show when GoT isn't on. I really enjoy it.
Production quality is top notch.
Kind of like Pirates of thee Carribean for adults.
The hot actresses in the adult scenes. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

It's a fantastic show. Season 1 was somewhat of a letdown though it was still good. Season 2 blew my mind, it was amazing. Looks like Season 3 will be excellent too. |

DIS MY SHOW
I heavily heavily recommend to anyone to watch season 1 and 2 on On Demand. and then S3 just started.
Season 1 starts out with 2 amazing episodes and then has a few more great ones spread throughout. Season 2 is great the whole way through.
It's a pirate show, but it's shot in a really legit almost sophisticated way, there are a few really good actors, really good writing and episodes, good amount of funny banter. Show is really good.. |

Been watching since Season One and I've gotta say, I'm so hyped for the current season. Possible Spoiler: I can't wait until Eleanor realizes that Flint is no longer the Flint she knew that could be reasoned with and that Vane may now be the more reasonable of the two. Also, love the change in Flint, he's finally given in to the dark side. |

Highly recommended. First 5 episodes of season 1 are a slog with so much exposition, but once they start doing pirate things, it's AWESOME. _________________ "There's only 2 dudes better than me, and I'm BOTH OF THEM." |

I fear for Rackham, but love and respect his play. Also hope that that isn't the last we'll be seeing of Blackbeard. |

Always liked this show. But I do have friends who don't like it. Guess they don't like pirate lore as much as I do.
Also, it can be pretty dialogue heavy. My bro says, he doesn't like listening to 45 minutes of talking every episode just to get 5-10 minutes of action. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

It's funny that when the show started, it was pretty cheesy nudity and swordplay fare, but it developed a story and changed completely as it went along. _________________ “We must always take sides. What happened to Blackbeard might be the most brutal thing I've seen on a TV show. It didn't click at first, thought they were feeding him to the fishes, but then they got graphic
On another note, it made no sense for them to board via longboat. They had the bigger ship, they had the man advantage, just sink them? And even with the longboat boarding, why only just one? Why board with just a handful of men that can easily be outnumbered? I understand Rackham waving the flag, Anne was on the ship, but everything leading to that was plot armor by Rogers. |
