We were a Julius Randle away too
Then we were a D'Angelo Russell away
Then we were a Brandon Ingram away
Now we're a Josh Jackson away
I guess next year we'll be a Michael Porter away at the first sign of struggle too
Nothing is going to happen till Randle, Russell and Ingram come into their own consistently. We're not 'another 19 year old' away from anything. We''re three 'wow, at 24 this guy is gonna be a star ' away. |

Any thoughts on Ben Simmons? .. He's sees LA as his oyster thats no secret, desperately wants to play for Lakers... His contract expires next year I believe - restricted FA ? |

Well cant ignore the defensive side of the ball where our current core has a long ways to go to match that detroit team. That Detroit championship team had above average defenders at all positions including 2 all defense level players.
