There really isn't much to blow up.

Russell would be better if they got a more disciplined group around him. I see him flourishing in a role similar to Wesley Matthews or Eric Gordon.

Lou should stay. Again, they just need more structure around him.

Randle, Clarkson, and Young could be packaged for a veteran 4. I think their mindset and IQ is an overall negative for the team and winning culture even if they put up decent numbers sometimes.

Get a pg with top 3 pick in the draft, Russell at SG, Ingram at sf, new power forward via trade, and platoon of Moz Zubac and Black. Nance, Lou, Black, and a couple new lower level free agents off the bench.

Don't panic

There's a difference between panic and refusal to support players that only bring it with intensity on occasion. That is primarily what irks fans over Russell and Randle. As much as a player like Clarkson has regressed this season, you never hear him being referred to as lazy or disinterested.

Yes it takes time for young players to develop. I have no issue with that and am glad to be patient while the likes of guys like Ingram, Zubac and Nance go through that process. However, none of them should need time to develop a passion for the game. They should have that innate drive to compete at a very high level - even if they don't have enough experience to be successful yet. The evident lack of heart and effort of some players doesn't need to be accepted under the guise of "Be patient, they just need time..."

Blowing it up is what you do with old teams. With young teams, be patient and use your assets to build however you have to.

But you also have to decide whether or not the current core is the right group of guys to build with. Because if the team's wrong about that, then the rest of the league will have figured out and they'll be a lot harder to trade for a higher return (for a pick or star). So if you're going to move forward with a core, it's best to make sure you don't end up like Orlando this season.

Well defend your posts. You make a thread, you defend your concepts instead of saying "stay away from me." It's never personal so don't take it personally.

Because you act like a know it all and are combative in your response.

So come back with a response then. It's a dialogue of ideas.

That's tough to do when you have no good ideas or supportive facts besides not hearing it in their voice or seeing it in their eyes.
