Lakers should be in on this. Boogie is the available star player I would go for. More than Butler or George tbh

Having him poison our youth isn't attractive. But maybe it wouldn't matter since most of them would be going to Sacramento.

What can they give to Sac? Jrue and Buddy? Celtics can give better assets. Nets 2017 pick alone would trump that.

1/3 of the team to Sac for Cousins, 1/3 to Indy for George and 1/3 to Chicago for Butler. Problem solved....

Honestly having mortgaged all future draft picks in the Nash/Howard deals are still killing the team. Can't make those deals without a future star or first round pick.

Magic said 1 superstar changes the landscape, well Cousins might be our chance to acquire a superstar.

Cousins is the best big man in the league. Kings would be foolish to trade him especially since he's indicated that he wants to be there.. UNLESS they get an offer they can't refuse.

The only team that I could see that could deliver that type of offer is Boston.

I'm in for boogie. That's one star worth it imo.

Sac would be making a mistake unless they got a massive overpay.

With no team behind him especially when we are still behind the Warriors.

You had thought of the before signing Mozgov and Deng because boogie alone won't get us anywhere, and that temper of his that I don't like.

You still have the off season to surround Cousins with talent.

First of all keeping that pick is more important than a-hole. Also the Kings will want that pick in any deal for Cousins. So the Lakers need to trade Lou, and Nick, and finish the tank job because there is no playoffs for us this year anyways. Also I'm not trading assets for a guy who can walk out on us in 2018.

If we grab Cousins, unload one of our albatross contracts, and keep our pick, we will be a good team next year.

Acquiring Cousins now would probably result in us loosing our pick, as we would win more games with him then without him

I'd love to see the Celtics trade both Nets picks for Jimmy Butler. Then they can be delusional for 5-6 years about winning with Butler and 5'9 IT.

Hopefully we're not the team that trades Ingram or DLO for these 2nd tier stars that wont win rings

One would think they'd inquire about his intentions before trading for him. Although our GM at the moment is Mitch Kupchak.

I don't believe for a second that the Kings have discussed, considered, or listened to an offer centered around BUDDY HIELD.. That is ridiculous and quite laughable. I hope you guys don't buy this rumor.

My bet is that the Kings hold onto Cousins for the rest of the season and push for the playoffs. When they don't make it, the Celtics and the Kings will enter serious trade talks and finally pull the trigger on a deal during the draft in June.
