Man, we need an online poll making course.

Exactly which option shall I pick if I think 3 years? Or 5 years?

Also, Brady is 39. He will most likely retire within 3 years. Which is all of the options in option 1 and one of the options in option 2.

I thought he would retire after 5 rings but it seems like he's still hungry.

Gisele wants him to retire. Tom is a family man. Happy Wife, Happy Life. I give him 1 to 3 before he hangs up the cleats.

For Tom Brady, retirement after Super Bowl 51 would preserve superhuman image

There's no way he is going to retire until retirement stares him squarely in the face.

As I think he said, you play until you suck. If you're an athlete, this is all you know. When it's over, it's over. At best, you can become a coach or a commentator talking about your glory days.

I think the fact he threw for 466 yards and 2 TD's, not to mention helped lead them back from a 25 point deficit to win the game in overtime, he probably thinks he got plenty left for these kids.He probably won't retire until he's hurt or realizes he can no longer perform at the level he is used to.

Yeah, if dude's genuinely still having the time of his life playing football, there's really not much left to say.

Yup. And it's football - meaning this could change in a second. All it takes is one devastating hit before Brady starts thinking about how nice it would be to spend winter in the Bahamas.

Who knows how he feels, but I don't know that he has anything left to prove really. He could retire tomorrow as the greatest QB in NFL history, and most of us would celebrate because we hate him or are worried he will eliminate our favorite team next year.

Barring a Kobe-esque injury I see him playing until ~42.

I think he plays for 3-4 more years. He just LOVES football. And he doesn't get hit much, so I don't think he's physically beaten up. If he's still playing at a high level, I don't see him hanging em up. I think you may start to see some noticeable slippage two seasons from now, but that might not be enough for him to walk away. I think he'd still go one more year after that, but maybe not. I guess you never know. The dude's gonna be 40 soon. Maybe he will show up to training camp next season and he won't have it. I suppose you never know.

Heard he plans to retire in his mid-40's, so who knows if it'll come to fruition....remember its the NFL where one bad hit can end a career.

He is one vicious hit away from being forced out the door. He has a great o line, so you never know. But at his age, one hit would do.

IIRC he did come in for Lamonica a couple of times when he got hurt. George was mostly used as a kicker. He kicked a couple of winning field goals.

I don't think anyone would be a starting QB at age 48, Brady included.

look at Vinatierri, he is above 40's and definitely a first ballot HOFer and can still kick 50+ yards at his age, but Brady is so well protected, i mean he does get sacked more nowadays since the O-line collapses.

Brady has already achieved the status of one of the best to play the game, i mean if anything now all he wants to do is run up his passing yards and touchdowns and win-loss record and his (cough)6th super bowl ring, we get it, its time to let the next generation step up
