I just hope he doesn't do anything crazy to jeopardize our future for short term success
He doesn't know how the CBA works or the contracts in it.
Neither did Jim buss
You're funny.
Jim knew more at 20 about how basketball operations worked at an executive level than Magic knows now.
But keep being in denial about it.
When Magic makes us a joke, you'll remember the day you celebrated the guy taking us in the right direction along with Jerry West's son were let go of.

Kupchak was drafted by the Washington Bullets in 1976 and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team. He had four productive seasons with Washington and was part of the team that won the NBA championship in 1978. He signed a long term contract with the Lakers in 1981 at the behest of Earvin "Magic" Johnson, who told owner Jerry Buss, "If we could get Mitch Kupchak, I know we could win", after the team's playoff upset.
Oh wow!
It's late here and I have class in the morning. _________________

i won't be surprised if the next thing we hear is that we've traded russell randle and ingram for jimmy butler, and traded lou williams for a conditional 2020 2nd round draft pick.
I hope Magic lets the professionals handle the scouting and salary cap details. Please do not be our Vlade Divac. Please sign some of the bigger names for GM/etc. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
This is one of the things that might work out great, or could be a disaster. The organization appears desperate, right before a trade deadline. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid!

Dude, they did Mitch DIRTY
Jeanie and Magic are both unqualified to hold their positions....I have little to no respect for either. The only hope is they hire an excellent GM and Magic realizes he has no clue and allows him or her to make decisions.

Is Magic going to do the negotiating? We don't have a GM

Why the [expletive] would Jerry come here now? Jeanie just screwed his son out of the position he's been getting groomed for AND turned down becoming the GM for the Kings out of loyalty to.
[expletive] Jeanie. She's screwed the franchise out of any direction it was headed. Again, SHE is the problem.
