Lou Williams joined HOU Thursday in NO. Didn't participate in shootaround. Didn't know if he'd play...has 22 pts & 6 3s in 20 minutes

Team is enamored with tanking. We sent our only player worth something for a late pick. Time to ride the younglins into the mediocrity ocean. I used to make fun of Boston miserable years, this is our turn.

Anyone know what the loophole is in the CBA that would allow Bogut to return to GS?

It's the last team you are traded from (Dallas) that you cant return.

It's an interesting loophole, but in this case I think its kind of overrated. It's not as if Bogut left on the best of terms.

(Tries my best not to bring up having Bogut k right now instead of Mozgov would be so much more ideal)

2-3 Unprotected First Round Picks for aging Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

Mitch got NOTHING for Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol. Younger and better players at the time they walked.

That is what did us in...

I hate the Celtics as much as all of us here do...but they did it right.

Yes, if Mitch traded an aging Kobe for draft picks and built around Dwight, he would have have been as smart as Danny Ainge.

I realize the position we are in right now, but this is blasphemy.

Surprises me a little that we couldn't get anything for Nick, but that just tells you that even with his good season, he has hardly any trade value right now.

A team may have taken him if he were on a two-year deal...but nobody wants to give up an asset for a free-spirited gunner who's likely only a 2-3mo. rental. Still, I would have thought that we could deal him to a team like Washington or LAC in exchange for a protected 2nd rd pick.

Anyways, yeah that Raptors team has some nice depth...

Lowry/Joseph
DRoz/Powell
Carroll/Tucker
Ibaka/Patterson
JV

Is Tucker better than Young? Or Lakers actually weren't shopping Young?

Lou leads Houston in scoring.... 27 pnts in 25 minutes...sounds about right. I would be happy if I didn't just realize they tricked us into taking Brewer

And people only like to blame Cousins for Sac misfortunes? When their organization as a whole has been nothing but a head scratcher for the past 13 years or so.

I still think it is better then being stuck with Nicholson for the next 3 years.

One game against one of the top playoff teams where they combine for more than ha'lf the team's points, rebounds, etc, and already it "doesn't work already".

Holy knee jerk reaction batman!

I believe its because he wasn't waived by the team that GSW had originally traded him to... Which is what I and many thought despite many NBA experts saying otherwise. Im glad its been clarified because I think Bogut's choice of Golden State, Cleveland, or Houston will be very big news.

Our best player on the 2nd worst team in the league.

in reality, our best SHOOTER, who didn't play a lick of defense and who didn't fit into the long term plans of the team

By RPM he's the 2nd best and by BPM the 3rd best player on a 48-11 Rockets team.

These picks coming up are absolutely huge. I would argue they're more important than the 2015 and 2016 picks now that we know more about the young core we have. 27th pick is nice and all, but solidifying a top 3, top 2 spot is more important. And if you don't want to ride the rebuild with young players in potential mediocrity forever, then the picks are equally huge to make trades. Any front office exec would recognize this... glad this was taken care of immediately.

Because we'll really be stranded in mediocrity ocean if we lose the picks.
