He had his Shaq'tin a Fool moment but his hustle & effort was 100% as usual.
Despite being buried on the bench, he answered the bell when called upon and delivered 9 points, 8 rebounds, decent defense and energy in just 15 minutes.

Gotta love the effort!

I can definitely see him being invited back next year if he doesn't get better offers elsewhere.

We need to get rid of the low BBQIQ players. Thomas Robinson fits that description.

Thomas Robinson: Swipes season-high four steals in Sunday's loss

Robinson supplied nine points (4-7 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, and four steals in 17 minutes during Sunday's 119-98 loss to the Spurs.

But those missed chippies! It's frustrating to watch at times. Steal the ball, give it back, steal it and then miss the shot. If only we could screen out a bit more of the bad.

Definitely a net positive this game.

He has his flaws, definitely! But I don't get why people here are so high on TB and so negative on Robinson.

Both players have similar strengths, but if you take a look at their contracts I'd take T-Rob over TB

Tarik's defense is much better than TR's

You cant ask for much more than what TRob provides as a 3rd string big making the vets min.

EXACTLY!

His game is light years more entertaining than watching the notoriously lame Sacre-Dance every game.

Perhaps you and a team should start to open up your horizons...

In 15 games this season where TROb plays at least 15 minutes, average of 17 minutes in those 15 games he is averaging 7 points and 7.5 rebounds in those 17 minutes.

PER 36: That is about 16 boards and 15 points. Plus you get all that energy. Wonder what he would do with a few games of Randle minutes, 28 or so.? Love to see his numbers with 34 plus minutes after playing 3 to 4 games, just out of curiosity if nothing else.

If he wasn't such a bad offensive player and bad defender he would get more time. Now he is just there to break glass in case of emergency.

I'd rather have him on the tean over MWP, Deng and Mozgov.

His hustle and ability to do the little things is very appreciated.

What little things? He hustles and he can hard hedge, besides that I don't know what he provides

The stuff he does well do show up in the box score. If you define 'little things' as things that don't show up in the box score, yes he does them, but unfortunately they help the other team

I don't want to pile on him though. As a walk on player you can't really complain.

He's definitely a hard player to analyze. He looks lost a lot of the time. But he does play hard and that counts for something. For a guy making the league minimum, he's good to have around. Break glass in case of emergency and hope that his effort can jumpstart the team.

This is a serious question. He's not a noted screener, he's god awful at defensive rotations, he doesn't keep the ball moving... what exactly are the "little things" that he's doing?

gets his hands on more rebounds that anyone I have ever seen....I mean literally touches the ball. Even when he cant secure the rebound, he seems to touch almost every ball that comes off the rim if he is even remotely close to the area....and often it deflects away from opponent to another Laker.
