Constantly losing is NOT good for a young team. They need to see their heard work is paying off sometimes, because if they work hard and they still lose it's very easy to doubt ones self or give up on what's being taught to them.

They (pro tank folk) don't care. We've been having this same tired circular conversation for goodness knows how many seasons now. So so tired.

So. Tired.

So.

Tired.

They brought their refs? In any case, I'll take that result since we played well enough to win (and I think we probably take it in an evenly called game), but still stayed in the tank battle ultimately.

The Hornets have been very good all season with not committing fouls. They have been pretty consistent. So this really isn't something that should surprise anyone

That was a clutch tank midrange jumper by Nick to end it.

Only bad game I saw tonight was by Nance Jr. Bad on switches and didn't take a single field goal. That's gotta change.

Yes there is, it makes one a pathetic loser

as opposed to the previous couple of years? ??? LOL!

Charlotte's not making this easy anyway...

he is not allowed to cheer for Fultz/Ball/Jackson/Tatum/Monk next season.

Or equally likely - not jack (bleep). Zip. Nada. Nothing. No matter how many (bleep) games we lose.

Sure I'd like one of those great draft picks. But cheering every loss wildly is just silly, the loss doesn't guarantee anything. Even if we lose every remaining game.

Nick Young smiling at the end is so symbolic of the last 4 seasons. Prime Kobe would have clocked him for that kind of shot. Lakers have done a great job of establishing clown culture.

I wouldn't define anybody as "pro tank". It's just accepting reality. Even if our guys close out the season winning a bunch of games, it seems likely there's going to be some trades in the offseason so there will most likely be several new faces starting out next season anyway who had nothing to do with the finish this season.

I concur, when there engaged like this, it will be tough to trade them, but they showed these type of games last year, there calling card right now is inconsistency, and having a killer instinct.

In the 4th quarter, Lakers played a new lineup of Nwaba/Clarkson/Brewer/Ingram/Nance. It looked pretty good - they were hustling their asses off on defense and in transition offense. However, I think Luke left them in too long... specifically when the Hornets answered back with their starters and promptly went on a run. I know Luke likes to ride the hot hand/unit, but with Russell and Randle playing as well as they did tonight they deserved to get back in the game earlier in the 4th.

he passed up two wide open shots within 10-12 feet again.....its not really funny anymore....there is a line between being unselfish and bad basketball decisions, and a lot of times when he is passing up open looks, it is purely a bad basketball decision.

DLO, Randle and Clarkson all awesome tonight. Nance was terrible, Ingram had moments too but that bricked open 3 in the 4th probably cost us the game.

The NBA too often comes down to whoever has the best player wins, Kamba was the best player on the floor and took over.

DLO has been really great since the Lou trade. Another 20 games like this and my excitement about him may return. If we just had a good defensive center and a single lockdown defender, we'd be a .500ish team potentially. Next year fam...next year.

They don't care and they know even less about how you go about developing young players.
