simple question... I would prefer Houston over all but If that is not a possibility I would like GSW or CLeveland to win it all.

I would actually prefer anyone except

1. Boston
2. Clippers
3. Spurs

as long as those 3 (bleep) sucking teams are eliminated I would be happy

If I had to pick a team other than the Lakers, I'd probably go with Toronto. It has nothing to do with the team, per se. I just think it would be nice if they finally won something.

That city LOVES basketball too. Could start a basketball revolution up there in a way. Canadian basketball has come a long way but they still need a Canadian team or superstar to win a title. After that happens, we'll start to have some stiff international competition. It may sound weird as an American Bball fan saying this but I can't wait for there to be a time when we aren't the favorite over the field to win gold in the olympics.

Memphis, Toronto, or OKC. OKC just because I think it would be funny for Durant to have left and them to win right after.

Tony Allen as MVP

OKC. KD having to sit through that would be amazing.

Seeing the Denver Nuggets win as an 8 seed that has a losing record would be amazing. But that will never happen in the West.

Memphis is like the Clippers. They never win anything. They only made the conference finals once and that was only because Westbrook was out. And then they got swept in the conference finals by the Spurs.

Memphis I've always had a soft spot for them and it would be something different.

But really its more who I don't want to win:

Bulls
Celtics
Spurs
Clippers
Warriors
Lebron er Cavs

OKC because the face of Durant the minute he gets interviewed post-Finals will be priceless if that happens. And also because Westbrook was a college acquaintance. Then Bulls, Pacers, Raptors, Wizards, Grizzlies, Nuggets in that order.

Honestly, I think I'll find myself pulling for Houston. Been a fan of MDA since his Phoenix days. I was happy with the hire and thought he got a raw deal. Look at the great defense we've played since he left. LOL! Once the media labels you, it becomes unfair. Your weaknesses are exaggerated.

Add the Cavs to the list for me.

The NBA championship? From the three you listed, Spurs. Memphis and Toronto would be a good choice other than that.

The world championship? Sweden. Mostly because basketball is way too much in a niche in all of Scandinavia.

You think Boston and Clippers has more of a chance than Houston?

I feel like the only team with a chance at an upset would be Washington.

GS is a really likeable team. I like the way they play, and all of their guys (except for maybe Draymond) are easy to like. As long as the Cavs or Celtics don't win the championship then it's OK with me.

I know it won't happen this year or next year, but if the Lakers will be out of contention for a long time I'd like to see the Knicks win a title in the meantime. The NBA needs us and the Knicks to be relevant, plus I feel bad for the good people of NYC who have had to deal with the Knicks FO's ineptitude all these years.

Toronto is the easy answer. That arena would be ELECTRIC and the city would go nuts.

As long as GSW don't win I am fine. I'd like Spurs to get the #1 seed and hope OKC gets #7. GSW will then have to get past OKC, HOU, SAS to face Cavs.

I will be rooting for Westbrook and Harden. Don't want that coward KD winning a ring

Lets look at some realistic matchups between Cavs, Celtics, Raptors, Wizards, Spurs, Warriors, Clippers and Rockets

Cavs vs Spurs: Spurs
Cavs vs Warriors: Warriors
Cavs vs Clippers: Cavs
Cavs vs Rockets: Rockets

Celtics vs Spurs: Spurs
Celtics vs Warriors: Warriors
Celtics vs Clippers: Clippers (ugh)
Celtics vs Rockets: Rockets

Raptors vs Spurs: Raptors
Raptors vs Warriors: Raptors
Raptors vs Clippers: Raptors
Raptors vs Rockets: Raptors

Wizards vs Spurs: Wizards
Wizards vs Warriors: Wizards
Wizards vs Clippers: Wizards
Wizards vs Rockets: Wizards

I would rather have Rockets and Warriors over Spurs

So its Wizards = Raptors > Rockets = Warriors > Spurs > Cavs >Clippers >Celtics

Imagine Wizards become champs and not visiting Trump. LOL

I definitely won't mind seeing the Wizards winning the title this year. I love watching John Wall, especially his end-to-end drives and specatacular assists. May be blasphemous to some but I'd take him over Westbrook, Harden and certainly over the 1-dimensional Isaiah Thomas. For me it's actually a toss-up between Wall and Kyrie talentwise, but since Kyrie is a flat earth truther I'd go with John Wall.
