ESPN sources tell @ChrisBHaynes and me that Golden State plans to sign veteran swingman Matt Barnes in the wake of the Kevin Durant injury.

Sources tell Haynes and me that the Warriors plan to sign Jose Calderon as they promised but then waive him to make room for Matt Barnes.

I guess the Durant injury may be serious. Nice of them to pay Celderon I guess. He did negotiate a buyout with the promise of the Warriors signing him. Matt might get a ring.

Per Woj, it sounds like Durant may be done for the regular season and possibly the playoffs.

Matt freaking Barnes is their answer? Iguadala will probably be getting more PT.

Durant out "indefinitely" with an MCL sprain and bone bruise. Will be reevaluated in a month.

Basically what Larry suffered earlier this year. Warriors are lucky that he'll only be missing the end of the regular season.

Hopefully that means he also gets a ring.

Out at least 4 weeks.
My guess is Warriors do the minimum to keep the 1 seed. Rest everyone afterwards.

They should just sit Durant out for the rest of the regular season. They don't even need HCA to beat San Antonio.

That's what they should do. They're 4 games ahead of the Spurs with 22 games remaining.

They looked really bad tonight against the Bulls. First back-to-back losses in almost two years.

Current GSW lineup would probably win 55-57 games over the course of an 82 game season. Very beatable.

Especially if they face the Spurs in the playoffs.

That is what happens when everyone is stuck on the Warriors jock, like they are some sort of superheroes.

Except that didn't turn out to be the prognosis

Angry and bitter much? The Warriors being good or bad doesn't change anything about where the Lakers are currently...
