Sorry. His lazy ass is so frustrating. |
even more so when he started the year and was talking about how Luke saw him as having an impact like Draymond, he seemed like he was going to be so much better on defense, then this |
you're aware that the reason Jrue opted for a long three instead of trying to beat him off the dribble is because of what Julius can do to guards on switches that try to beat him off the dribble right? _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

yes, I am also aware that putting your hand up doesn't mean you can't still maintain that position. |

also be aware that Jrue taking a three about 3 steps behind the 3 point line is something you live with the result of. He isn't Curry.
If he misses it, people laugh cause he took a long three and his coach glares at him, if he makes it, good shot and move on. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Yeah, Russell and Randle have mental makeup issues--usually happens when guys shoot subpar 2-point percentages with high unassisted shot rates. Both have that problem.
Russell also has a bad habit of telegraphing his passes, and not really reading the second/third wave of defensive reactions well at all. He also has a tendency of going for the harder pass when an easier one will suffice. His problems are so deeply rooted I wonder if Luke even has the ability to sand off all the rough edges.
I'd trade Randle first, because he was never ranking well statistically even back at college. But I'm questioning Russell's mental makeup more and more. His decision making is routinely atrocious. |

There were 2.5 seconds left on the shot clock. He stood there with 3-4 feet of separation and barely raised his arm. F that noise. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

No doubt that is the shot you want him to take, you also want to at least pretend to contest because that reduces his chances even more. |

When Luke subbed out JC the team miraculously went on a run. No coincidence. |

Go figure. damned if you do, damned if you don't. |
no people wanted him to put his hand up and contest the shot, he just stood there. | no we didn't |

No comparison to Kobe | I'm talking about statlines bruh. (bleep) relax |
I know but you couldve picked any hall of famer on a bad day | I could. But that's the kind of line we saw plenty of times from Kobe, which was my point |
Post achilles Kobe maybe |
Turns out he had the exact game I posted twice before his Achilles injury:

Esp the 2013 game. Very similar. Obviously if I loosen the parameters you get more.

And it's not like they're all post Achilles.

Is it your contention that a defender should or should not raise an arm to a guy shooting a 3?
I agree you want Jrue taking that shot. But you also want your defender putting an arm up or do something to disrupt the guys shot attempt. |

I can live with him having to take a long three pointer and live with the results. There's been much worse defensive effort from guys tonight you could be [expletive]ing about right now. When BI gets lost on defensive rotations or JC gets caught in no mans land or 5 feet away from his man who has a wide open three I don't see you saying jack squat. But Jrue has to take a long three over Jules and it's just too much to bear
yeah, of course. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
