Early season, I tuned in almost every game through December. Slowed down a lot since. I check in on Laker action once a week or so for just a few minutes at a time, at this point in the season. That's all the punishment I can stomach. Besides, watching poor basketball is a sad excuse for life when there's so much to do in life. Hell, I can get some of my hoops fix with other faves, the UCLA Bruins and Spurs.
I respect your opinion man, but personally for me, I don't have time for a "2nd" NBA team.
I understand when playoffs come and it's two teams you don't care about but pick a winner anyways. Or like boxing, MMA, the Super Bowl or tennis when you cheer for one opponent vs another, but regular season basketball, it's Lakers or bust for me.
I find it easy to have time for the Lakers, the Spurs, the Bruins and the Ddgers when they have even decent teams. But watching sports played badly, well, I'm too busy for that all the time for any of them.
If we aren't winning I don't care to watch tbh unless they're on espn or TNT. Just hoping for a top 3 pick. Trade that pick and Deng for Butler. Then go get PG13

Is it worth buying tickets to the Cavs game in a week and a half? I'm thinking of going just to see LeBron, but it's a meaningless game for us and we're probably going to lose. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Was highly interested when the season began, but i've been beaten down again. I'm getting too old to sit through 30 point losses. Just seems like a waste of life, to be honest.

Keep in mind we're likely to be blown out by halftime, so if seeing Lebron play in person is your primary goal, you may not even get much of an experience. I also wouldn't be surprised if they just sat him out for rest purposes.
I still watch the games, more now out of habit than anything else. It's hard to watch when I want us to have the best shot at keeping our pick as possible. I do enjoy watching Dlo and Ingram and JC/JR play well, but they're pretty inconsistent. And with how badly we lose games, I end up just reading or surfing the net a lot while the game is on in the background. I'll rewind to watch if I hear anything exciting happen.

Yeah, it's not like it's just a choice of watch the Lakers or watch some other sporting event. The Lakers are competing for my time with a million other things and they have to play well to deserve my time. I can easily go months without watching any sports. In fact, for me, it's more of a case of why should I watch something when I could be doing something instead?
