Nance is kind of too unselfish and is kind of a liability on offense. Randle, Nance, Black and Robinson, to certain extend, are similar style player. Randle is a keeper and Robinson is cheap as a 3rd PF/C. Do we have the luxury to keep both Nance and Black?

Nance plays better D than any of our other bigs and he always keeps the ball moving.

Randle has a far higher ceiling than Nance, but I really like what Nance brings to the Lakers. He's the perfect piece to a championship team (ala Horry, Rodman, Horace Grant, etc). I would keep both if possible, but at the same time I wouldn't hesitate to ship Randle out with a draft pick for a Paul George type player.

The good news is the new front office along with Jesse and Ryan probably already know what they are doing with Randle and Nance. If they don't, I have a feeling they would be certain by the end of the season.

I'm not very high on Randle. He looks tuned out far too often. Still isn't much of a shooter either.

Nance is an alright help side defender, but he's terrible on switches and has a hard time keeping guards in front of him the way Randle does.

He is also apprehensive towards taking wide open jumpers.

These are two things Nance truly needs to work on that sort of are swept under the rug.

I couldn't believe this when I saw it: Nance is in the 90th percentile on post-ups. Granted on few attempts, but enough to qualify.

Larry Nance Jr. has a right wrist sprain. He'll be re-evaluated tomorrow. X-rays were negative for fractures.

His wrist was obviously still bothering him but he fought through it for a nice performance. I liked that he was quick with the trigger on his jumpers tonight, and even knocked down a three.

Theme of the Lakers' win tonight vs. PHX? Communication. Larry Nance Jr. said he lost his voice because he yelled so much on the court.

Talking a lot about supporting cast this days, here we have a perfect member. I like him better than Julius at this point because you look at Nance and you know he is a role player, he knows he is a role player and he does his job with pride and joy out there. Julius has some outstanding talents, but he is not a role player and at the same time at this point even with a filled stat sheet he is not more than that.

Nance is really holding himself and the team back by not shooting open shots more

went from aggravating me to making me angry at this point....he steals 2 or 3 assists from his teammates each game by refusing to shoot a few 12 footers

Was happy to see him hitting threes last night, maybe that will increase his confidence.

It makes me VERY happy to see him and Randle both attempting more threes a game in rhythm.

Hopefully they start falling more for both, will obviously be something both work on in the off-season.

It's like they were reading my posts about how the Lakers needed their PF to start shooting 3s....
