117 - 113 Thurman. He kinda gave the last two away. I guess he thought he had the fight won on score cards so he played it safe. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

not surprised Thurman almost got robbed after winning most of the rounds given DSG's questionable wins in the recent past. if he gives Danny a rematch (which he doesn't deserve yet imo), he will definitely get robbed. i think Thurman won the fight clearly, and he should look to unify with the Spence/Brook winner to prove he's the man at 147.

I had it 9-3 Thurman, at the end of the fight. I'm sure a couple of the middle rounds could have gone Garcia's way, but no way I see Garcia winning 7-5.
Aside from that, I'm really curious to see what Lubin does at 154. Kid got an impressive KO.
Other fights this weekend that weren't televised, Fonfara ko'd Chad Dawson. Also, Haye vs. Bellew was actually an awesome fight to watch. There have been a few posts on youtube, of the full fight, for those of you that want to check that out.
Lastly, I didn't realize that Golovkin vs. Jacobs 24/7 debuted on 3/4. I saw one link on youtube, but HBO hasn't added the official version yet. For those of you that subscribe to HBO Now or have HBO Go, you should be able to watch on the site (or app). _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

I'm so hyped for this fight. GGG's biggest test thus far!
Nice! Glad they finally put it up. And me too. I'm really hype for this one. I like Danny a lot too. I don't see him beating GGG, but if he does, I'll cheer for him just as much to continue rising. I think GGG has more to lose, if Danny were able to get the W. I think Danny beats all other fighters in the Middleweight division. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

yeah.. this is going to be amazing..
Jacobs just seems like a great guy.. and to battle back from all that he's gone through.. you can't help but cheer for the guy.
but GGG is just so good.. not just a brawler or a puncher.. he has great coaching and he listens.. the way he nullified Lemieux's power was a thing of beauty.

Watched it over and over. It really didn't look like Lemieux sat down on the punch. He must have really come from the hips and shoulders. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Gamboa played it safe, in his first return back (gotta protect that chin...LOL).
I knew somebody would get KTFO, but didn't imagine it would be that dramatic and devastating. I thought Stephens had a much better chin than that and definitely thought he had a better chin than Lemieux, who first lost to Marco Antonio Rubio (which most "experts" failed to mention, when talking about Rubio not being a valid GGG opponent or Lemieux).
Who's buying the PPV this weekend? I'm debating if I'll just stream it or actually buy it, but will probably decide to buy at the last minute. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...

Lemieux KO was vicious! I'd love to see Canelo or Charlo vs. Lemieux (the latter being more likely to happen after Lemieux's recent performance). I don't think anyone wants to see a GGG/Lemieux rematch unless Lemieux beats a top-tier fighter.
As for the PPV this weekend, I am going to a buddy's house and we are splitting the cost. The undercard is solid, as well. I am hoping Jacobs comes in ready for war from the 1st round and floors GGG early. I want to see how GGG responds to adversity, which he has never had to do yet imo. If Jacobs tries to run/survive, it will be a boring and futile strategy leading to an eventual stoppage similar to the Martin Murray fight. I think his best bet is to catch GGG early (when GGG is usually still measuring his timing/distance) and immediately change the tone/narrative of the fight. With that said, my prediction: GGG by TKO in 7
There's a PBC card tomorrow night on Bounce TV. For Time Warner, for whatever reason, the PBC cards are rarely listed as "boxing" so be sure you don't try finding it via keyword search. From the Bounce website, these are the providers/channels that offer it in LA:
Frontier 476 | Time Warner 1281 | Charter 216
For those of you that aren't in LA, here's the listings on the Bounce website:

Jacobs didn't weight in today. He's the bigger man. I think he plans to overpower GGG, use his size advantage. He better have the chin. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I thought Jacobs and González won their fights. I wasn't surprised with the Jacobs decision because a super fight with Canelo is in the making if he can get by Chavez. I was surprised by the Chocolatito loss. He was 46 0. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
