He needs to work on his free throws, but Saric is the truth. They have some nice pieces over there in Philly.

Way to make Sario look like Durant tonite. Hopefully tomorrow's blowout isn't too bad.

That DLo shot after the timeout with 5 seconds left was the most obvious tank move of the night.

People acting like a top three pick is going to change this mess. We need someone to get good

Making Saric look like a better pick than Randle is kinda awful to watch

Wow. Crappy game. Fun at times I guess.
DLO - geez get some sleep.
Clarkson - way to pick up the slack - good game

Randle, Nance - good games to both - still not convinced any small ball center we have is as effective as big Zu though.

We aren't guaranteed a darn thing. The chance of keeping our pick is essentially less than 50/50. So this loss means nothing but another loss. Chances of keeping our pick is gonna remain around 50/50 or less. We won't be worse than Brooklyn.

"Lose for the sake of the future"

I really hope you aren't counting on anyone in the next draft to single handedly turn our franchise around...

Because that isn't happening till Russell, Randle and Ingram come into their own.

"sake of the future" is Russell, Ingram and Randle leading this team to 10+ more wins this season. That's "sake of the future" cause it means we're closer to being a winning team. That's where the sake of the future is. Not one single player in this coming draft saves our franchise before Russell, Ingram, Randle come into their own.

Winning ensures the sake of your future, losing only ensures more losing till your talent matures and comes around.

S/O To defense too. He didn't show up to Staples tonight and that was key.

It's better than nothing so we need to lose for the rest of the year. Even Magic is on board for team tank.

I don't watch college basketball but isn't the argument that this draft class has a few transcendent players in it? Hopefully more than one since we missed out on Towns and Simmons the last few years.

Tankathon say 56%. Wish we could get the worst record. But I'll settle with those odds.

Actually we never had a chance when we keep landing at number 2.

I meant missed out in the sense that we didn't get the pick to get those guys. Which is why we need a few in this draft because we might pick 3rd.

I've stopped watching the lakers for the most part this season, but did watch the Phoenix game and this game..there really is no need for me to watch another game this season. The tank is too obvious, benching nick and starting nwaba is bad, but only playing zubac 18 minutes when he had 10 points 6 rebounds and 4 blocks is just too tanky for me. I love the lakers but if they are intentionally trying to lose then that's cool..:I don't need to watch it.

We aren't becoming a winning team cause of drafting top 3 in the 2017 draft. In fact if we are DEPENDING on our top 3 pick to carry this team to victory next year we'll lose more games than we've lost now.

The 2017 draft isn't turning us into a winning team. Russell, Ingram and Randle coming into their own and surrounded by the proper vets will, long before whomever comes in the 2017 draft becomes the difference maker they'd need to be.

The point is that they will come into their own while we get a pick of another potential franchise talent.

We're gonna be a winning team next season. Have a little more faith eh?

I don't mind watching Nwaba play just to see his defense, but benching all established vets, going all small ball youth league and freezing Zubac out of closing time smacks of knowing we can kick Philly silly and deciding not to.

At least it was a close game, but it sure looks to me like the Lakers want that early 1st round pick back for good this time.
