You have to give Magic & Pelinka credit. They are not fooling around with this tank. Mitch & Jim never committed to the tank this hard.

The last drafts the Lakers have been too predictable/or cautious in their draft picks... My wish is if we could draft in the 1st round...Josh Jackson, Dwayne Bacon and Frank Mason in the 2nd round. Drafting those 3 make us one of the most athletic young teams in the NBA. Mason is older than Ball...but, imo a better shooter, better in transition and a much better defender...plus he comes w/less drama. Watching Jackson play he's so much more assertive than Ingram. And Bacon...you have to see for yourself, a special talent. Adding those guys with Zubac and Randle...I like our future, but that's me just talking err writing.

Traded • Steve Nash to Lakers for • 2013 first round pick (least favorable of Cavaliers, Heat, Kings (top 13 protected), Lakers (top 14 protected) picks) (#30-Nemanja Nedovic) • 2013 second round pick (protected top 40 in 2013, unprotected in 2014) (#57-Alex Oriakhi) • 2014 second round pick (#36-Johnny O'Bryant) • first round pick (protected top 5 in 2015, top 3 in 2016-17, unprotected in 2018) (?-?) • $3M cash on 2012-07-11

That's right. I got my years mixed up. I remember feeling much more confident in 2015. This year's pick feels much more stressful.
