He likes the up tempo game. Grabs the rebound and gone. Underrated passer and players are afraid to stand in his way when he attacks the rim. You either getting knocked over or and elbow to the face hahaha

He brutalizes switches too, which Houston likes to do. Last night was mostly transition or post game against smaller players. My favorite move of the night was the drive right + jump stop + dunk on Capela though.

I went back and watched his offensive highlights. That was a great play.
Am I crazy to suggest we should try him at PG. His 3pt shot is not there yet I understand. But his midrange and Free throw pct% have gotten better as the season has progressed.

But it was ok to experiment with JC and Ingram as PG? Cmon I think there is an argument to be made that randle has better handles and passing ability than both of those guys.

I have a difficult time imagining JR running the PnR action that we run for the PG position. And I was against the Ingram at PG experiment too.

Well we all know he would be a no show after a big game. 1 good game followed by several mediocre games

That is why i am not impressed with such game. Even player like Jodi Meeks can have such game.

I have seen enough, ship him out. We are a better team with Nance at PF and Randle on the bench. Let Deng play backup PF.

Despite having a bad night he was still able to accumulate 12 rebounds & 8 assists. That's more than we get from some guys on a good night.

I didn't feel like he had a bad game overall, but certainly never got anything going offensively. Did manage 12 rebounds, 8 assists, and another block. But back on the downside he had 5 turnovers. He had some decent moments defensively in the fourth quarter, and some bad plays offensively during that same stretch.

One other promising note defensively is that he's had at least one block in 4 of the past 5 games, and is averaging a block a game during that stretch. To put that in perspective he had only 3 blocks in 10 games last month, and 5 in 15 games the previous month.

Next to Gianis it was pretty clear he is T-Rex armed and on the top of that he is not a skilled finisher and has a terrible touch around the market in a way even when he makes it never looks pretty. He is a force of nature, his strength is his raw power and brute force while he is an above average passer for his position, it is a shame that he is not the guy with the highest IQ out there so it can become weird when he is creating in halfcourt.

He's pretty damn good in the mid post at times when he actually uses some go to moves. His problem is he likes to get all the way to the rim where there's no daylight and he gets swallowed up by the defense. He still doesn't quite have the discretion to realize his limitations and understand there aren't any good looks for him under there. I think/hope this will come as soon as next season. It's more of a decision making thing with him.

You could say just about everyone on this team puts up empty stats, every game; currently we are bottom-feeders.

Nope, def uncontested rebs and handoffs (AST) are exactly empty stats.

Lol..He had a crucial offensive board off a D'lo missed free throw and another offensive board in traffic off a teammate's miss down the stretch. Nothing empty about that.

Offensively he was a mess last night after a few of the non calls he felt he should've gotten. Which is usually the case with Julius. A few unjust calls and his head is out of the game. Defensively he was his usual on team defense and those times where he left Zubs out to dry was cringeworthy. Aside from that I thought he did a decent job on Giannis the times matched up with him.

Pretty much one of the few Randle bad games since all-star break in this stretch.

And even then, was on triple double watch. 12 rebounds and 8 assists is nothing to sneeze at.

The fact Randle was able to get 8 assists with that starting lineup and Clarkson only amassed 2 or 3 says a bit.

He is a below the rim player... and at the PF position... that is a big negative!

bar Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis can you name 5 "above the rim" PF's in the NBA off the top of your head?
