When ZU gets at least 26 minutes per game, 6 of them thus far this season, overall average of 27 minutes, he is at 15.5PPG/9.7RPG1.5 blocks per game on %55 FG's.
Basically a 21/13 and 2 per 36 in those 6 games where he actually gets real time...... .... |

Great showing from Zubs. Defense is coming along, had some issues with help and recover. Team needs to collectively box out and also help board. The times when he was in there battling 3 Bucks for a rebound while Julius and whoever were near by just spectating ... not cool. |

Yup, and also with natural growth to his game with experience added to the formula... |

This is not a shot at Julius Randle in the least but did you guys see how good Zubac made Randle look? Allowing him to pass it to Zu and get some assists off of him? This is a 19 year old rookie making players around him better, you don't see that kind of impact from rookies this early on. His ability to score from the post really opens up the floor for everyone around him and right now we're just not good to capitalize but the impact is there |

If this was the DLo thread:
Can we no longer use the excuse that he's 19 now?! |

Nah
The good thing about Zubac is that nobody need to make excuses for him. Didn't play at all starting the season? Is benched while delivering? No problem, just feed the big fella and he is going to deliver. No nonsense talk around this former teenage. |

I'm just making some fun DB cause thank God this is a light thread.
I use to talk about Zubac in superlative terms because he is a die hard Lakers fan like us and I'm legitimately happy about him.

Zu's a steal. Kid makes things look easy offensively. Last night was a good experience for him dealing with some mobile bigs and then later kicking Monroe's butt. |

So basically in games where he's playing well enough to get minutes he's playing well ? The per 36 stuff is half fools gold to begin with. Filter that extrapolation with another layer and you've got pretty bias results. Doesn't mean there isn't truth in it but not really proving anything. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

I tuned into the game at the start of the 4th quarter, by that time I saw Zubac already had 18/8. Anyone know why Luke didn't give him any more minutes? Tank move? Should have been another 20/10 game if he played in the 4th. |

Zub was destroying Monroe, but the Bucks had to go small when he was tossed. |
