Stupid post I know, but I was so disgusted at the amount of "Cleveland" fans there were at staples. I'm 10000% positive they were Miami Heat fans a few years ago...smh...yea I'm mad.
It's all good. Tbh I feel sorry for those types...desperately needing to jump on the new bandwagon to validate their sense of existence. I say let them have their little sorry ass satisfaction lol.
Lakers fans are everywhere no matter what the record is. I'm from Winnipeg, Canada and whenever I go to Minneapolis for a game, at least 15% of the building is Lakers fans.
We have the largest fan base in the world. What's funny is even though the clippers are having there best years ever right now and we are having our worst. 98% media coverage is still the lakers

I went to the game yesterday and had this exact same thought... So many cheers whenever LeBron scored... _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Lakers have the largest fan base period. A few Cavs fans at a Lakers game isn't a big deal. Imagine how much more would have shown up at a Clips game? I'm sure our season ticket holders pay for their season tickets just by selling a few games, this being one of them. If Cavs fan want to pay a huge price just to enjoy a sunny afternoon in LA, and catch a game at Staples, good for them.
Imagine how other fans feel when we go to Hotlanta, Charlotte, or NOLA...

There were a few hecklers in my section, and it was nice to see them sit down and shut up when we had the lead. And that block by Nwaba on Kyrie had them sitting back down.
I don't necessarily view this as a bad thing. Cavs have one of the GOATs in Lebron and two stars in Irving, Love. If the Lakers reach those same heights, it'll be Laker country all over again. Might happen. Might never happen. Until then, we'll have to play the waiting game. I do think Rob, Magic have righted the ship, though.
Metro LA has nearly 12-18 million people moving around on a daily basis, there are bound to be plenty of transplants, visitors and opposing fans.
Doesn't bother me a bit.
No one can touch the Lakers brand. I've been to games all over the country and in every arena there is always a large contingent of enthusiastic Laker fans.
Contrary to the rumor, the Lakers still run the show!

I heard some MVP chants for LeBron. Disgusting indeed.
Kind of like when the Celtics were almost as bad and you heard MVP chants for Kobe from the Laker fans who remained until the end of the game.
Now you know how it feels. _________________ "Larry, you only told me one lie. You said there will be another Larry Bird. Larry, there will never, ever be another Larry Bird." — Magic Johnson

Eh not really you pay for your tickets you can go cheer for whoever you want. It's your money anyways
It was probably one of the few games season ticket holders were able to make a profit. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant
Worst were all the Bulls fans in the early 90s. I have a memory of going to Magic Mountain in 93 and seeing tons of kids in Jordan or Pippen jerseys (OR Hornets or Orlando crap, to rub our lowered status in even harder). None in Laker stuff. I know why, but still, you're talking S. Cali here. That wasn't just a Laker issue, though. Whole NBA. Bang-wagoners as Duece 2.0 used to call them. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

I turned around and said "what banner did you hang last year ? enjoy this L tonight !" the guys on the side of me where like OHHHHHHHHHHH and she just shut up
