Lavar: DLO, he's a bust. My son should be the "PG." DLO is a "SG." The boy should stop touching Ball's ball. (repeat same crap we hear on LG...)

Not good

Funny part is that however annoying you think the dad is or isn't, everyone keeps giving him an outlet to keep saying these things.

You think he's stupid or insane, so be it. Then why do you have him on your show or talk about him and perpetuate this whole thing.

The dad was a pure unknown until some outlet caught on to him and it all snowballed.

Bye.

Just to shut him up I hope all his sons end up playing professional ball in China or Venezuela.

Yeah, the guy is a shameless self promoter but it was hilarious watching him arguing with SAS and almost making him lose his mind....

It goes well beyond yacking.

His father's behavior is a serious problem for a team that drafts Lonzo.

With the amount of screentime they're giving LaVar Ball, just give him a reality TV show where him and Stephen A Smith are locked in a room and have to talk to each other. Who will come out alive? Will either?

He's in for it if he thinks he's getting into an NBA locker room with the intent of poisoning the air and it's a maybe whether he'll even get in to say hello to his son before some specified time window after the game. They wouldn't let Pat Riley in to say hello to the guys less than a year after he left the Lakers. If LaVar is allowed unfettered access, that's shame on Lakers. If they don't have a dismissive line for any stupid comment about the coaching or org, same shame. I do expect him to be annoying as f tho, but hopefully he's just relegated to drive time sports radio. Lonzo and his younger bro(s) are going to have to take that big step towards autonomy. Being a multi-millionaire who travels the country and has a job and mansion and adult relationships, etc, should help. Daddy's directives and control should be embarrassing for most 20 yr old LA man-childs. Kobe's parents lost their hold in time (God knows). I realize this guy is a prime time dip-sh unlike Jelly. There will be something with this guy. It's unavoidable. Pre-plan a stock reply, Lakers org.

Bron yelling at Mum to stop her scene. That would be mortifying for anyone. Sheesh.

I don't think the First Take segment helped his cause at all, contrary to what I'm sure he's thinking right now. There are A LOT of people hoping Malik Monk drops 50 points on his son tonight, and that UCLA is sent home in embarrassing fashion at the end of the night. LaVar's antics have very unfortunately created extra work for Lonzo ... the father's act is so easy to disdain, it becomes more and more difficult to root for his son's hopes and dreams. And that's why the idea of Lonzo getting destroyed on the court is beginning to appeal to so many ...

What remains to be seen is whether Lonzo has the temperament to feed off the dislike his father's shadow is casting on him. We'll see tonight. I'm guessing most of America would love to see a UCLA meltdown. What a (bleep) mess ...

Not cool, Lavar. Not cool.

Like Lonzo, having second thoughts on his egomaniac father.

Suck it, LaVar ... I hope that fool owns this (bleep) right now ... his hubris landed him on his ass this week - TWICE. He wouldn't relent in running this circus and trying to make the news cycle about his own foolishness, instead of shutting the (bleep) up and allowing his sons to play without the pressure imposed on them by a loudmouth father fighting with them for the spotlight. And he painted a HUGE bullseye on Lonzo's back in the process ...

You didn't score a (bleep) point tonight, LaVar. You didn't snatch a single board, and you didn't dish a single assist, either. And unfortunately for your $1B dreams, Lonzo was clowned by not one, but two guards from Kentucky tonight. And Fox, in particular, (bleep) wrecked those champagne wishes and caviar dreams ...

Now maybe this douchebag will fade into the woodwork again ...

Better than Magic, he said ...
