Ivica Zubac Deserves All-Rookie Team Consideration
Quote: | While Brandon Ingram is a virtual lock to make an All-Rookie team, second round pick Ivica Zubac also deserves serious consideration.
For the past three years, the Los Angeles Lakers have been staples at the NBA draft lottery. After missing out on postseason basketball for the fourth consecutive season, they will be heading back to the lottery on May 16, hoping the ping pong balls bounce in their favor once more.
If LA’s luck runs out this year, they will still have the late-first round pick they acquired in the trade that sent Lou Williams to Houston at the trade deadline. Since 2014, LA has enjoyed success late in the draft with gems like Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr, and most recently rookie Ivica Zubac. |

Good to shut him down. Lower extremity injuries for big guys should be handled cauciously. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

you make it sound like it's for a whole year, while it's really 2 weeks of meaningless end of a season. |

Lakers just being extra precautious. There's no need to risk it. |

Great year for the rook once he got a chance to play. Hopefully he works on his weakness and comes back even better (he will) _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Ingram, DLO next please... We need to showcase Randle & Clarkson or they'd be sidelined too! |

Clearly it's a bummer that he got hurt but I am glad they're holding them out for the rest of the season because what would be the point. Focus on our hopefully much better season next year. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

Great news!!!!!!
There is ZERO reason for us to give up our current position to the Phoenix Suns with so much riding on the line (potentially two 1st rd draft picks).
Lakers need to go winless the rest of the way... or else someone needs to be fired! _________________ A three headed monster... Jeannie, Pelinka, and Ham... another terrible season. |

Probably my 2nd favorite Laker after Larry, but he was on his way to becoming my favorite. If there was ever a good time, I guess this would be it. I love the kids attitude and that quote about proving himself a few posts above.
Hopefully this opens up the door for MWP to take the wheel of the tank and ride us to the promise land. |

What if the 3rd seed gets the 1st pick and the 2nd drops to 4th? Then who should be fired?
It's called a lottery for a reason. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Being "out for the year" means being out for like 8 games. Sucks, but we'll see him next year. |
