Very true. At least this Pistons/wizards game manage to get moderately interesting.

Congrats on the Pacers win

And now the media will try to spin that the Cavs have a tough road to the finals because they may get the 2 seed.

Please. They'll dominate Boston in 5 and I said that even before they killed them last week.

Lebron has had a cakewalk in the east for many years now. Atlanta, Toronto and Boston don't count. The last time he had some competition was when Boston had their big 3 and Dwight was in his prime with Orlando.

Exactly why I don't put much stock in his consecutive trips to the finals.

The Pacers made the playoffs but they play the Cavs so I'm not really sure if there's a reason to actually be excited beyond seeing the Pacer for at least 4 more games.

Harden won MVP tonight against Westbrook.

though I'd give it to Kawhi.

But yeah Harden just put an exclamation point on it while Westbrook got career-highed by... Patrick Beverley

Yeah I think if it's really between Harden and Westbrook, tonight Harden just won the vote. I'd give it to Kawhi personally though.

If the votes weren't already in a couple days ago, it may have had some impact..

it's a bit rough to say that beverley put that on him, beverley was wide open while westbrook was sitting under the rim waiting for rebounds

That doesn't make it sound any better, it does for the people saying Westbrook is stat chasing though

Now its LeBron vs Field and we unfortunately know who wins that one.

It was the same way in the 90s when it was the Bulls vs whoever. If the Cavs continue being complacent and playing down to the level of their competition though, it could get real interesting.

Indy played well in these first two games, but the Cavs should've won both games by double digits. Hopefully the Pacers will make this series competitive and interesting.

The only chance would be if Lebron's drop in defense, would have an influence on the team. But the east is so piss poor, it doesn't matter.

In general the Kyrie/Lebron duo is deadly, two elite closers. It's Cavaliers,Spurs or Warriors for the title.

Yeah and that sucked too at least the year and a half Jordan was gone gave us another team to win it all.

They'll only lose an eastern conference game, because they decide not to play at even 90% of their ability.

Is Lebron's drop permanent or just regular season slacking?

Now I am seeing articles that the Raptors might beat the Cavs in the 2nd round. And then in the ECF, it will be, "can the upstart Celtics beat the Cavs?"

Please. Cream cheese cakewalk to the finals.

Toronto is never getting by this Cleveland team. They were the other ECF rep last year too.

Atlanta isn't either.

Chicago isn't either even if Rondo is healthy. They have too many headcases and their coach sucks.

Washington is talented, but they remind me of the Jail blazers. They get flustered quickly and aren't disciplined enough to beat the Cavs at the "mental" aspect of a series.

Boston has a chance to dethrone the Cavs in about 3 years if they beef up their team and Lebron gets older.

Lebron should make the finals for the next 3 years. Hardly any competition in the East. Never seen a star player have such an easy cakewalk to the finals year after year. Guys like Jordan, Malone, Barkley, Shaq, Duncan, etc had to work much harder in their conference before getting to the finals.

Kawhi's ankle issues: such a shame. Reminds me of when Worthy sprained his up in Portland in 1991. BGJ was never the same, clearly hampered the rest of the playoffs. You hope that's not the case with KL.
