Shame it took an advertising boybott. Fox was going to keep this secret forever, but the settlements leaked.

He was always able to pull in huge ratings. I'm guessing some other news station will pick him up.

I saw the handwriting on the wall when Mercedes Benz pulled their ads.

What draws people to personalities like Bill O'Riley, Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump?

The depravity. Only soul-less individuals can like demons like Bill, Rush and Cheetoh Dust.

Sadly, 60 million plus soul-less individuals vote for Don Cheetoh.

To me the real story here is how Fox News and their parent company were totally fine with his behavior until news of it leaked. Pressure on their advertisers should continue.

Sadly it's more likely that the potential of the scandal leading to Fox's purchase of Sky in the UK being blocked played the biggest part in him getting the boot than any sort of pressure by sponsors.

Don't forget Greta and Megan Kelly left faux news already. But most importantly, master raper-in-chief, er architect, Roger Ailes.

Ailes was the biggest piece. Rest are mostly puppets. Let's not celebrate too much. Rupert is still alive and the Murdochs still run that shady chauvinist org.

His (and the guy who actually does the writing) next book should be:

Killing . . . . O'Reilly

It warms the cockles of my heart to imagine that smirk fading away from his splotchy face, but the collateral damage is the real payday here ... if O'Reilly's involuntary termination leads to less noise from Dennis Miller and Jesse Watters in this world of ours, this might be one of the great days in 21st century American history.

Everyone here is quick to tar and feather him but I haven't seen a shred of evidence any of this happened not saying he didn't do it.

Doesn't sound like you looked for any evidence either. Willful ignorance is not a good look. Anybody can catch a case. But when you have multiple cases, multiple out-of-court settlements, MILLIONS paid out over many years, then I don't know what to tell you. At this point, you're just sitting here with your hands over your ears and your eyes squeezed shut talking about, 'I haven't seen a shred of evidence.'
