If we get the 3rd pick, would you trade Ingram for the 2nd pick to get Ball?

I'm pretty sure Phoenix would unfortunately take Ball at #2. Why wouldn't they want to form a dynamic back court of Ball and Booker? But maybe they would take Ingram in exchange for that pick? Would you do it? I would consider doing it and then trading the 3rd pick for Paul George.

You would trade 2 premium assets for Ball? Yikes.

I'm starting to believe Ball is the most overhyped prospect of all time. At least Lebron lived up to the hype.

I believe Lonzo will be a game changer but will definitely not trading Ingram for him.

If we get the #3 pick then I'd be praying that Phoenix takes Ball at #2 so we can get Jackson.

Trade Ingram for Ball would be the dumbest move ever!! All this Ball hype is ridiculous. People are feeding into his Dad hyping him up. He will be a good player, but geesh, not trading Ingram for him.

Dumb idea....

Just to be clear, his proposal is Ingram for Ball. We'd still have our own pick as well. (Presumably Jackson)

1. It's too early to assume the draft order. Phoenix could very easily be picking after us, even if we stay at 3rd.

2. I could absolutely see Phoenix taking Josh Jackson over Ball.

3. I wouldn't do it. We've pretty clearly seen Ingram's potential flash in the NBA. Still have no idea how and if Lonzo's game will translate. They're also almost the exact same age. Give me the guy who's a year ahead with experience.

I don't think Ingram has a high floor, but I don't see any player in our roster with his ceiling.

I'd move any other player with the 3rd pick for the 1st though.

Hell no, but I don't think Phoenix has the #2, nor they will draft Ball if they do.

Like Ball wouldn't force his way here in that scenario.

LaVar would be on every show talking mad (bleep) about Phoenix, and Lonzo definitely wouldn't work out for them. It would be the most blatant attempt to maneuver in NBA draft history.

There are a zillion places to talk about this stuff. People don't need to start a thread for every random trade idea, especially one as dumb as this.
