They tanked while we had a mini winning streak and we still got a better draft pick. I love it.

4th is not bad at all. They get Tatum, JJackson, or Ball... whoever doesn't make the top 3. Either 3 is not bad at all at 4th.

IT, Bledsoe and Booker would have been backcourt options. Dumb move.

Suns love Kentucky guards, so Fox should be right there waiting for them at No. 4.

Sounds like what Laker fans would sound like if they got what they wanted instead of the wins at the end.

Suns always do best at what they do....failing...
They failed to win the NBA championship in 1993.
They failed to make the NBA Finals with a loaded team consisting of Nash, Amare, etc with MDA at the helm.
They failed to get a top 3 pick in 2017.

Don't know what they're complaining about. A number 4 pick is still great.

Sounds like they really felt it was their time to get #1.

in the end......the way things turned out was much more important for the lakers then it was for the Suns

They will get a good pick regardless....however WE needed things to go our way very badly....and they did.

Obviously I would have loved if Celtics were the team that dropped out of the top 3, but it is also satisfying to see Suns drop. They went into uber tank mode. And they got what they wanted they dropped all the way to the bottom 2 while Lakers played some good basketball to end the season. It didn't matter though

Had the Lakers kept the 2nd-worst record, Philly would've wound up with the 3rd and 4th picks last night. Wow.

And of course, only the Kings could actually jump into the lottery--and still not select in the top 3 LOL.

I don't like to gloat at other teams misfortunes but reading this is deeply satisfying. They're a (bleep) organization along with the 76ers.

Still they got that 70 pt game though. That'll keep 'em warm as they switch between the lottery and first round exits for the next decade behind the new Gilbert Arenas with less talent.

funny comments for a team that only has some mvp awards to show for their efforts.

Since the mvp is the MOST rigged prize ever.

Plus they're just salty because the impact of them getting the #4 pick on the lakers overshadows the fact they even got a pick. Laker haters are like that.

Magic - "i dont even know who got that 4th pick" - Yes Magic, you and the rest of the world.

hahahahhahahaha

The main reason the Suns & the rest of the NBA, for that matter, are pissed is because the Lakers retained the pick! Laker hate runs deep.

If they don't trade either pick, there's a good chance that they land two of Fox, Tatum and/or Monk - possibly even Jackson if someone else goes early. Their team is going to be gelling with better talent just when LeBron's hold on the East is fading with his age. Pretty sure they'll survive.. If their fans don't get it - that's on them.
