To all women in the forum let me be clear. I'm by no stretch of the imagination defending Ailes. He's a predator of the lowest form.

If I'm reading it right all or most of these women had a choice. Could they have refused the advances and file suits? I don't know their personal reasons for not doing so. They could be valid.

IMO Roger Ailes can be shelved with the scum of the earth. He and people of his ilk (Donald Trump) feel empowered.

As a female on LG I'm not bothered by what you said here I have questioned it myself to be honest.

I mean he's awful but I figured they would've quit why didn't they? I get not suing because he's a rich white male with power but there were other options.

Like what?

Say hello to Bill O'Riley. Roger's student.

Sitting home comfortably swimming in millions?

That response sickens me. It reeks of misogyny.

But victim blaming is much better right? You act like like its so easy to put men like Ailes where they belong.

I'm not victim blaming, that's a position you gave me not one I own.

If I had to lay blame, I'd lay it at the feet of Aiels and his ilk, e.g. Bill O'Riley.

I'm not into theatrics, I don't act. I never said it would be easy. I said there were choices.

Why should a woman have to quit her job because her boss is a disgust and miserable douchebag who harasses her?
