I don't get why he should get a regular season MVP award when he takes games off during the regular season.

Yet he still led the league in minutes per game.

LeBron avg 26/9/9 on 55% and 36% shooting. MVP numbers. And he defends. He's clearly the best player in basketball. Anyone else winning MVP is a joke.

MVP candidate? Sure

MVP? Maybe

But considering what a joke he's made of the regular season taking games off I'm not going to be that upset that he doesn't get MVP he already has 4.

I'm fine with Russell Westbrook getting it since he was killing it in the regular season.

Size and strength still matters in the NBA. When you see LBJ dunking and IT4 looking like JVG you are in big trouble....

Yet Kobe and Shaq only have one. Timmy only has two. And so on. It's not a best player award.

Spurs-Memphis was awesome. Though it was in the 1st round and everyone had Spurs winning it.

Wizards/Celtics only had 2-3 good games out of 7.

So when the Undefeated Warriors face the undefeated Cavs "everyone" will tune in and watch to see who loses first.

I can see why Silver isn't so concerned.

So you wouldn't care about the ratings for the first three rounds of the playoffs? That's like a TV show not caring about their ratings because the season finale will get huge numbers. Yeah right.

I'd love for someone to ask Dan Gilbert if now we can finally change the rest of the teams' names to the Washington Generals.

Well considering even Stevie Wonder could see the Cavs and Warriors III since before the season began yeah this is pretty much the only thing the NBA has to offer at this point.

Exactly!

That little b Gilbert whined that the lakers would form another super team if they got CP3 then Dwight. He then miraculously wins the lottery 3 times in 4 years and then the chosen one becomes the prodigal son and returns.

I hate Cleveland and Lebron. Lebron has never had an true injury in 14 years, plays the most minutes, is bigger, stronger and seemingly faster as he approaches 33 years old. Hmmmmm

Hornets lost by 58 at home to the Nuggets in a 1st round game 8 years ago.

Need a late run!

That Hornets team was coached by the great tank Commander Scott.

At least Harden got his team to 3rd seed, that brings some "value" to the league. Any player from 5-8 seed shouldn't be considered.

Not to mention his team finished the season 23-23. It was a stacked ass team too. Lebron wasn't the best player in the regular season and didn't deserve MVP. He's been the best player in the playoffs which means much more.

im certain he has used some sort of illegal substance in his career. Playing in miami, taking mid season days off to miami, Wade having weird growth in the jaw....

Do you have inside knowledge of what the League values? TV ratings, jersey sales, attendance, etc.

If both make it undefeated to the finals they both would have broken the best start to a playoffs at 12-0. That would be quite a game 1. Cavs seem like almost locks to go 12-0 till the finals. Spurs have a shot at home if Kawhi plays.
