For the $ I'd rather spend it elsewhere.

Yes, on Marina Del Rey.

I like the food, but not the time I have to wait to get seated, or how long it takes to get the bill.

That one has great views of the harbor. Except parking is a mess even for valets and the crowds are huge.

NBA players love it.

My mom and I actually met Pau Gasol at the Redondo Beach Cheesecake Factory the week he was traded to LA. Iirc, we saw him as he was walking out because there was a crowd of people surrounding him and he towered over all of them. My mom was well familiar with my Laker obsession and dragged me over when she saw him. So you're probably right about NBA guys loving the place.

Park on Broadway and then walk the three or so blocks over there. Much easier.

I go to Cheesecake Factory to pack on pounds. I'm not gonna go lose calories by walkin.

Just think of the walk as an excuse to get an extra slice of cheesecake. Bonus points if you get two extra slices and scarf one of them down while walking back to the car.

I had a very important standardized test (GRE) to take last week. The night before, I ordered $80 worth of food from the Cheesecake Factory-- a bacon cheeseburger, fish and chips, stuffed mushrooms, macaroni and cheese, and a slice of red velvet cheesecake. I ate the burger, half the fish and chips, and half the cake for dinner.

I woke up at 1:00 A.M. the next morning and ate the rest. Test started at 8:00.

I got a perfect score.
