seems questionable on the surface....there is a difference between being a personal trainer and team strength and conditioning guy....they when you consider the amount of anabolics that clients like Stallone uses while being his trainer....just does not feel right.

There is no difference. He has worked with professional basketball players on an individual basis. That's what a team strength and conditioning coach does. They do not do team basketball related Jazzercize classes.

What bothers me the most is if he's going to be readily available to our players since he has a huge fitness company to run.

Something tells me that was covered before they hired him. Sorta like how they didn't wonder about Pelinka having to run an agency while being the GM. It's not exactly a detail that gets tossed into the 'we'll figure it out later' pile for Gunnar or the Lakers.

My best guess is that he sold out to his partners. That's the way it usually works.

His Wikipedia says 9.5%, someone should edit that before Magic sees it.

Magic: you have 24 hours to get that below 7%.

Gunnar: Wait! Allow me to "...have a vanilla frozen yogurt with Reeseā€™s Peanut Butter Cups! A huge one!" Then we'll talk.

Decent background article on him here: http://dukemagazine.duke.edu/article/gunnar-peterson-85
Quote:
From the start, Peterson has taken an academic approach to his training by getting certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American Council on Exercise, and keeping up on the latest literature, videos, and classes. He's also been a shrewd businessman, continuously scaling up his operation so that today he conducts training sessions at his own luxury 5,000-square-foot Beverly Hills gym, complete with a putting green and climbing wall.

Questionable personal choices with prostitution, and an police report around that here: http://radaronline.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/celebrity-trainer-gunnar-peterson-caught-soliciting-prostution-undercover-cops-docs-signed.pdf. Source is RadarOnline, so who knows what's been fabricated vs not. Sure seems real though.

Under the "Who I Am" section it says he has 3.5 dogs. What does that even mean?

Sounds like he's trained athletes too tho

individually....just saying it seems imperfect to me

I get the sense that you just are uncomfortable with change.
