Magic, easily. I admire Kobe, but I don't really think I'd enjoy hanging with him.

Magic would be very entertaining. My guests that I surround myself with would rather have me bring in Magic if I had the choice.

BUT.. Based off of my personality, I would pick Kobe because I love serious talks and philosophizing about anything and everything. Magic is a great guy to have a friendly conversation to feel good, but there is a mystique about Kobe's intelligence that intrigues me.

it depends what kind of mood I'm in. If I was really wanting to hear stories of grueling, overcoming, grit and hard work.. then Kobe for sure..

but if I wanted to laugh and have fun.. then magic.
Kobe's a fascinating character.. it would be fun in a different way..
though Magic can also bring the business acumen.. though Kobe is catching up.

60/40 Magic over Kobe.

I don't think I'd enjoy hanging out with Kobe, but I think I'd enjoy working with him, on like a project or business idea.

Now that Magic is running things, I'd have to go with him. To pick his brain all night and throw in my 2 cents on the future of this team...that would be sweet.

If he wasn't with the team, however, I'd absolutely go with Kobe. I'd have some other entertainment there to keep people occupied, then go find a couple chairs in the corner by the bar, a couple old fashioneds and chill with Kobe the whole night...talk about storytelling, Bruce Lee, Phil and the triangle, Olympics, killer instinct and a (bleep)load of other topics late into the night.

Since this is my fantasy, at dinner, I tell him he doesn't eat first.

I chose Magic for simply one reason:

He's the one guy that could get Kobe and others to show up with him.

Tell him you wanna talk all things "Showtime" then, now, future and he might walk up with kareem, worthy, mychael, Jeanie, kobe.. post that pic on social media and call out Shaq for missing out and he'd come by within the hour too.

hahaha. Then i'd say i don't have enough food and get Magic to treat everyone somewhere.
