I picked the Cavs to win this in 7 myself so this just confirms it will happen...

Stephen A. Smith, who has incorrectly predicted last six NBA Finals, picks Warriors

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has incorrectly predicted the last six NBA Finals – an incredible streak even if he were trying to guess wrong. But at least his picks led to the fun video above.

His prediction this year? Warriors in 7:

Congratulations, Cavaliers!

Cavs are going to win. GSW is filled with chokers in Curry, Thompson, and Durant.

How are Curry and Thompson chokers when they won the series the year before?

People just throw that label around without any merit these days.

Durant is LeBron's (bleep) though I don't expect that to change or Mike Brown to outsmart Tyronne Lue here.

How can you incorrectly pick 6 Finals in a row?

What a tool the guy is. Only in America could a joker like that be making big money to literally exhibit his own ignorance daily.

I guess Steph/Klay "choked" their ways into winning the first one.

How the hell do you miss 6 in a row? Some of those were just ridiculously obvious

The "Splash brothers" haven't had many good games in the 2 finals. Only a handful.

I remember last year when the Warriors won the first 2 games in dominating fashion, Klay and Steph were serviceable at best. Draymond and the role players played bigger roles. Curry was only "curry like" in Game 4.

Klay was good in Game 5.

In general, they have been hit or miss. Mostly miss in the 2 finals.

in the first finals, klay was being tagged for unfair fouls that took him out of the game. he was getting hot and offensively ready to burst in 2-3 of those games. reminded me of when artest played lebron and kept getting tagged with fouls so we were never really able to enjoy a artest vs lebron duel...which, if kobe could lock up lebron, artest would embarrass him.

Yet another reason to root for the Cavs.

He flip-flopped though because he initially picked the Cavs. Basically it sounds like he's covering all of his bases LOL 😂

I hope then it counts towards his initial pick.

I know there was 1 year, in the early season he picked AI and Melo to win the title as Denver Nuggets. I guarantee it. That statement sounded as ridiculous then as it does now, which isn't always an easy thing as time goes.

Curry had a (bleep) finals 2 years in a row. Couldn't even get the Finals MVP. As of right now, Curry's an overrated Finals choker. Lets see if that changes for the rubber match.

How can you "choke" if you already have won one?

I guess choke is the wrong word. I'd say he underachieved then. Not the performance a unanimous MVP should have in the Finals. He definitely choked in the second meeting. Couldn't buy one for the last 7 minutes of game 7.

I can only point out the "MVPs" Westbrook and Harden post season, and the scandal Curry being a starter in the West All Stars.

SCurry averaged 25 a game after adding KD.

Him and LBJ are the best, and 3 straight finals apperances should make doubters and stats-lovers stiffle.

Just goes to show how completely stupid and useless Stephen a smith is. His knowledge and opinion is nothing more than a bathroom attendant at an Atlanta strip club
