To me Larry's biggest issue is he's too passive. I hope he understands that and comes out attacking this upcoming season.

I agree that he passed up some shots he could/should have taken.
Sometimes it's passivity, and other times it's trying to make the "right" play. It's going to be interesting to see Nance, BI and Ball (if we get him) all in the same lineup. Three guys who try to make the right play and are occasionally passive.

But man, the length of those guys on defense! Drool!

Yeah, I'm sure we all remember that kick out Ball had against Kentucky when all he had to do was lay the ball up uncontested. I don't see him doing that too often though. He seems much smarter than that. Also, BI listening to Magic and finishing strong. And Nance's shooting looks much improved. Man, I'm excited for next season already.

Wasn't that our summer league lineup last year?
Russell/ Brown/ Ingram/ Nance/ Zubac
+ length at every possession
all players try to make the right play
all players can be passive (though Russell certainly wasn't)

I agree 100%

But I am hoping that it is linked to his confidence and once he understands all of his talents, he can unleash them at will upon the opponents..!

And with a floor General like Ball running the show, Larry will be able to cut at will and get the ball for the jam...!

Larry Nance, Jr. and David Nwaba spent their memorial day in the Lakers’ gym
Two grinders decided to skip the holiday.

Most of the Lakers’ young roster has made various appearances, but according to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, Monday there were just two players spending their holiday in the gym: Larry Nance, Jr. and David Nwaba.

Didn't get it.

If we draft Ball we are going to have 60 dunks of the month

Julius game is about doing his own thing.

Nance is more of a team player that depends of other players to score.

While Julius helps Dlo moving the ball and assisting him, Ball may help players like Nance and Zubac

Probably Nance with the bench unit.

Tough one.
Ball likes to jump pass to the screener on a pnr. I think Julius can do some damage in the paint once he gets the pass.

Agree with this answer. The simple answer is the players playing with him will benefit the most. IMO Ball starts out as a bench player.

I am excited about the possibilities of adding Ball to this system concept. He helps it with his passing ability but they all have to buy in to make it work. Off ball movement and sharing the ball.

Such novel concepts from the heavy doses of iso ball we have seen in recent years. With Kobe it made sense, now not so much. Walton has work to do to change the culture. Ball would help it.

Funny but I can envision Russell, Clarkson and Ingram benefiting from easier shots just as much as the big men.

Stopped watching this draft workout about halfway through it when I noticed nances jumper is wet. Might be damn near automatic by the time the season starts. Still a long summer ahead
