jinx?

it would be interesting if the 2017 Cavs is the team that changes that.

I have to think the Warriors will be pressing down to become the first 16-0 playoff team.

Looking like a sweep...

K.Love + future pick for PG13
Tristan + another future pick for Melo
Cut Deron, resign Bogut if healthy for minimum
Try to move JR Smith and sign JJ Reddick or if not possible, SwaggyP
Convince D.Wade to take the minimum

This is an arms race

Both of those deals are awful for the other team

Knicks and Indiana don't have leverage against their stars at this point. Cavs is the only team that can persuade PG13 to stay and for Carmelo to waive his no trade clause... since Cavs is the only other team beside GS with any chance of winning the ring

If the Pacers trade George they'll likely be starting a rebuild. They would have absolutely no use for Kevin Love in that scenario and a draft pick in the late 20's wouldn't be anywhere near enough to sweeten the deal. They'd pass on that one. Better to just let him walk and not take on a big contract.

I know Carmelo's value has fallen off a cliff, but I still think they could get more for him than Tristan Thompson and another late 20's pick. If they can't, they'd be better served to just hold onto him.

Yep. They have just one game to go. The Cavs have 4 to do their job. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the 15-0 team's probably going to prevail in this.

Time to bounce to the Nets and fulfill Prokhorov's (Putin's) dream of becoming NBA champions.
