I think 3 on 3 is great for learning unstructured play and fundamentals but I'm afraid that in a highly competitive setup, it's going to be set plays on every possession. |

Interesting rules. Half court. Game clock is only 10 minutes. 2 points for a "three pointer" and 1 point for a basket inside the arc. First team to 21 wins, or whichever team has more points at the end of 10 minutes.

tip-ins send opposing team back to 0
tip-ins with opponent score of 0 end the game
games will be played on a standard court in the middle of 3 acres of concrete so that players must expend energy chasing balls that go out of bounds _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

Name some 3-on-3 current player teams...
First Team to 21 points wins, so you want Players who can score at a high percentage, how about:
Lebron James 26ppg @ 55%
Russel Westbrook 31ppg @ 43%
James Hardin 29ppg @ 44% _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

I agree. This is dumb for an olympic event.
Somebody greased some hands somewhere.
Are we sending NBA players to this? |

3 on 3 basketball is more of a playground game. If thats the direction they want to go they need to get streetballers in the Olympics. At least it will be interesting to watch. |
