This fight is such a joke. These are the top two promoters in there sport. The money these two will make is absurd for an exhibition fight. If Floyd trains for this fight like a title fight he will win easily. If Floyd takes him lightly then Conor has a chance. Conor has nothing to lose. If he loses he can say well i am not a true boxer.

I'll save everyone the time.
Mayweather: Rounds 1-12: Scorecard:10 12x10=120
Mcgregor: Rounds 1-12: Scorecard:9 12x9=108
Floyd wins by the judges
Mcgregor gets his biggest payday ever
Floyd goes to 50-0 and rides off into the sunset

So if Floyd wins he will credit for a win on his official record?

It's a joke, it's a circus, but so what? Should be fun as hell. These are two of the best (bleep) talkers of this generation. Hopefully, they have many press conferences.

Exhibitions like this aren't new. Ali made 6 million for his farce with Antonio Inoki

Conor's next level (bleep) talker. Brutal cuts but makes everyone laugh with him all the same. That's final form type of (bleep) talking. Rest of it is amateur hour.

Shouldn't they fight twice to make it fair?

Once under boxing rules and again under MMA rules?

I mean, seems unfair. One has spent a career as a boxer and the other I don't think has ever boxed.

Floyd would get wrecked in MMA...he wants no part of that.

Yeah, but MacGregor is going to get destroyed in a boxing game esp against a technical fighter like Mayweather no?

I kind of feel like it is pitting a speed skater against a figure skater in a figure skating competition.

It's not about fairness. It's about getting paid. This is going to be Conor's biggest payday multiple times over. He has nothing to lose, everyone knows he going to get starched. Floyd on the other hand, still wants to keep his perfect image. He would literally DIE in MMA if the ref doesn't save him.

Floyd dictates everything the venue and the weight of the gloves. The gloves will be 10 oz.

McGregor should just shoot, ground and pound him into the canvas and take the DQ loss.

LOL. Exactly what I was thinking. Go a few rounds, get some shots in... then back up and bust a flying knee Mayweather in the chops. Lights out!

They'd definitely have stipulations int he contract that would cost McG dearly if he did that.

What I think he CAN try to get away with is when Floyd inevitably grabs him...I'd just do a subtle hip toss and put him on his ass. Knowing Conor he'd do a "what, who me?" type of look and pretend like it was an accent (albeit, knowing Conor he'll give that knowing smile). He's gotta do something crazy but subtle to get Floyd thinking.
