Having Magic is just as good. He is talking about growing his brand and other ventures after basketball. Magic is that guy, and playing on the Lakers will always beat the Clippers. Pretty sure LeBron is a huge Magic fan. |

Can't see this at all. A guy his age is all about legacy. Coming here makes zero sense. Sounds like total bs, all due respect to Woj. _________________ I'm a Balliever. |

It doesn't work like that
All NBA players have to pay state income tax in California.
Edit-they calculate your California state tax by how many games your team plays in that state.
For example when the Lakers play a game in Dallas, DLO doesn't have to count that game as California income

You are right its about legacy. Given that, best ending for him would be on the Lakers. For example, I'm from Asia and over here the only thing that mattered (after Jordan) has been Kobe. You could put LeBron and Kobe at competing venues right now and I'd guarantee you that Kobe's would easily have 5x the audience.
If he's serious about his global brand, he would want to end his career in spectacular fashion with the Lakers. |

This is partially true. They pay a portion of their salary to California for games played in the state. Much of it depends on which state the player claims as their domicile. It's actually quite complicated if you want to read about the nuts and bolts of it all.

Dlo
Fultz/Ball
Ingram
LeBron
Randle
Can that work? Like GS positionless line up with spacing? Yes? No? I'm tired and think I should go to bed? _________________ Tacos |

Not sure Randle would work. A team I'd like to see would look like:
Fultz or Ball
DLO
PG
LeBron
Myles Turner (Trade with Indiana along with PG for some combo of Randle, Clarkson, and sadly Ingram) |

Sub PG in that line-up too. There's not a chance in hell LeBron comes here w/o another star |

So Lebron comes here to get knocked out in the second round rather than the NBA Finals? Lol. |

I dislike him as much as the next guy, but a LeBron, PG, DLO, Fultz/Ball, and whatever young stretch big we get for Ingram, is Western Confetence finals easy in 2018/2019 |

Even if that's the case, does George, DLo, Ball, and whatever we get for Ingram move the needle for Lebron? And even assuming it does happen, is that good enough to beat the Warriors, in Lebron's mind? I'm just skeptical he'd consider us when he has a free path to the NBA Finals every year |

I do not want the queen. There is no way he is coming. He does not have the balls to play in the West. |

I doubt he relishes putting more finals losses on his resume. That combined with the Lakers as a legacy solidifiying play, and the potential of a balanced veteran / youth team with a much better chance than his current situation -- I think it's something to strongly consider. |

Well, with the West on the Clippers I hope they can't pull off ring discounts and get CP/Blake/PG13/LeBron/DeAndre for a seniors tour.

They would seem to be the favorites. But jeez would that be a bad way to end a career, wearing a Clippers jersey. |
Fwiw, the espn710 morning show guys have a theory on this. They think Lebron would go to the clippers from a legacy perspective. Basically, the following narratives:
"He won with a franchise that's considered a joke around NBA circles"
vs.
"He needed the lakers organization to win, followed in the footsteps of all time greats..." |

I don't buy that one. Lebron doesn't care about creating a legacy for the F'ing Clippers. But he wouldn't want to play for the Lakers either. Not after Kobe. He wants to win in Cleveland. He won't be leaving Cleveland imo. |
