I've been re-watching BB to refresh on what we know about Salamanca/Fring and realized something else: Jesse took Walt's advice after all. When Walt was trying to get rid of Jesse he told him to get in a car and just drive. That's the last thing we see Jesse do on BB after he kills Todd.

Hyped for the finale tomorrow but not hyped for 9 months of waiting for a new season.

What was that look Gus was flashing nacho....did he see him pick up the pills was he in on it....on AV club they've been talking about the house burning down for many weeks plus the title kinda gives it away but it was still a beautiful understated episode. harsh last words from big brother though.

it was tough seeing chuck fall back into his madness. the mad king burned it all down.

i thought jimmy and kim's relationship would be strained but they bounced back stronger than before. was nice to see was expecting a bad break.

Damn homie, this long? Her character is ride or die and she plays it to a T. She's amazing.

What a performance by Michael McKean. The whole scene with him obsessing over where that one little trickle of power was coming from was riveting.

Chuck was annoying, time to move forward...

(Did I really say that or was I just thinking it?)

It was the Pajamas.

I'm glad Chuck is gone. Everything that needed to be told about that character was told a long time ago. Time to move on. Credit to Michael McKean for making him as unlikable as possible.

It's interesting that the writers keep delaying the full arrival of Saul. Maybe they know that having too much Saul has the potential of becoming insufferable. It worked well in small doses in BB, but I don't think I can tolerate that character for a long time. Maybe Saul will truly arrive at the end of the series.

After almost abandoning Jimmy, Kim is back with him. But we know that, at some point in the future, something will happen to her. I wonder what that will be.

I think Gus recognized what was going on with Nacho and Hector, since Gus always knows what's going on. It'll be interesting to see how the character of Nacho develops. I always look forward to Nacho's scenes and I'm glad he's not dead (yet).

No Mike in this episode. When was the last time we didn't see him in an entire episode? It must have been last season.

A very depressing ending to the season, but it was effective.

And yeah, Kim is hot.

Are we gonna see any more of Howard now that Chuck is gone? I really like the character.

Also, are we ever going to find out why Saul has an obsession with Lazer Tag?

I caught that. Is there a connection? Did Nacho put Hector in the wheelchair? Does Gus know he switched the pills and will use it as leverage?

Chuck didn't go out on his shield. Howard punked him. Sad, great acting but sad.

Mike is working with Gus now and knew of Nachos plan, so maybe he filled Gus in? Or maybe the death stare was because he could tell something was up with Nacho and was upset because remember, he still wants to be the one to kill him

I'll point out that we don't know that Chuck is gone, and cliffhangers being what they are, I wouldn't even call it likely. (Although I admit that plot-wise, Chuck's death after his and Jimmy's falling-out would certainly be a pillar in Jimmy's descent to become Saul...)

Or maybe whatever will happen to Kim down the line will be the final straw. When she's gone, he'll have no one left.

I think this show's too good for Chuck to survive that fire. Jimmy predicted the death early in the season and there's no more room for development for Chuck's character.

yeah..there's no way chuck survived.

the building blocks are falling into place though..

inability to do elder law.
fall out with Chuck
Chuck's death

Kim truly is the final straw.

great episode. brutal to watch. reminiscent of Leo's performance of howard hughes.

Jimmy threw himself under the bus. I really wasn't surprised, though I thought he'd find another way to get Irene to settle.

I'm kinda like Larry, I'm wondering, is Chuck's really gone? What if he's alive and joins forces with Jimmy to get back at Howard?

I've been toying with the idea that we will see Kim coming into the Cinnabon that Jimmy works in these post Breaking Bad scenes. One way or another she will save him again and they will be back together. Maybe they had a following out and that was part of his spiral into Saul or maybe she slips into the dark side with him and becomes a silent partner dealing with all that money laundering and she returns to get him and they walk off together with millions as part of the ultimate long con or something.

That would be awesome. I don't know if I could see Kim "breaking bad" but her either being around or coming back would be great. Maybe she gets wind of him being in the hospital after his collapse?
