If reports are true that Celts will take JJ at #1, you have to keep the pick and grab Fultz. He's going to be worth a lot more than whoever we can get at 4 + next year's Suns pick.

Celtics will take Fultz.

He is actually a good idea to eventually replace Thomas who I think was exposed a bit in the playoffs as far as his weaknesses.

Man they must be underwhelmed with Fultz, Ball, and JJ.

There's no obvious franchise player in the group as they're all too young & under developed.

Three ways to look at this:

1. A major FA just committed (wink wink) to the Lakers in 2018!
2. Its a game of Poker w/ the chowderheads
3. I'd like some of what they're smoking!

I think Ainge is trying to leverage #1 for #3 and our unprotected pick then select Jackson at #3.

#3 Pick & Our #1 Pick we owe them for 2018

Jackson or Fultz.

#3 76ers, with Simmons as point forward, they may prefer Jackson/Fox over Ball
#4 suns, they may prefer Jackson over Ball too. With Booker and Bledsoe in the backcourt, they need a athletic and defensive wing badly

That's good to hear, none of these guys are very impressive let alone the circus that would come as a result of LaVar Ball.

would you guys trade #2 for Porz? Than kind of trade would fasttrack our rebuild. Porz can be our defensive anchor and shooting big. Hell i would even throw #28

If New York offered Porz he would be wearing purple and gold by the end of the day.

I'd throw in anyone but Ingram and Russell.

I'll roll with this. All these different scenarios are too much for me. Keep it simple and pick the best talent left at #2.

Especially if we can't get value, which it looks like we aren't, the Suns deal is garbage

So many things could come into existence. Lavar's mind must be clouded. There is no clarity leading up to draft. Lakers showing great immunity to Lavar's speak into existence power.

Unless its to trade for a star player like George, Butler, or Klay they better be keeping this pick
they better not trade that pick for anyone. since we know it can't be straight up since stars cost too much.

pg13 will be available next season. we'll wait. i aint trading squat for him right now. hope he stays healthy until then.

Klay might get me going but nope. I'll trade you DLO and clarkson for klay.

thats it. of course you can have a side of deng or mosgov to go

i'm down for that..barely. but that aint happening.

what if ball is jason kidd with a jumper. which is approx 18 ppg and 10 dimes per on 49% fg, 40% from 3pt.

are you okay giving that away for a 2018 pick? who's coming out in 2018 thats supposed to be "the next one"? anyone?

If we can get both of SAC's picks and WCS that would be a very nice trade for the Lakers

If we had the option to get a 2018 pick. I would rather get philly's pick instead of ours back. I really don't want any possibility of team tank coming back.

Is Sacramento possibly a target for the Lakers like the Nets were for Ainge?

Might be time to punk the minor league town again.

I would be ecstatic with that if we get a projected bottom 3 team's pick.

Deandre Ayton is supposed to be the next Duncan and Michael Porter Jr. is an athletic 6'10 forward with range.

Nothing is going to happen before Boston picks first. Personally I like Lonzo and would prefer to keep him, but if Magic isn't sold the only way I drop back to 4 is if Phoenix takes Luol. Something like 2/Deng for 4/Dudley/Miami pick. I could live with that since it frees us up a bit for next summer. I'd go for Tatum at 4.

#2 for #4 & Miami pick. Select Fox. Win/Win.
