It looks like Livingston might be a casualty of GS paying Curry, Durant and Iggy. I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on him.

I would love to get him in, he is one of the most underrated players in the NBA.

I think we would get 1st meeting with him or his agent if he departs GSW.

#28 pick, Young/Ennis/Robinson could return.

What should the Lakers use the rest of their cap on? I think another shooter or a 3 and D player.

Take on a bad ending contract for a pick next year. Next year is already a wash and will be used for player development.

Take on Pau Gasol for a pick from Spurs.

Then use rest of cap space on a one year deal for Ian Clark or Justin holiday.

I think I'd maybe decline Black's option.

Sign T-Rob to a 2 year deal w a team option on year two. Same w Ennis.

Ball / Clark
Russell / Clarkson / Nwaba
Ingram / #28 / Brewer
Randle / Nance / Deng / T-Rob
Gasol / Zubac / Mozgov

I feel like Meeks hasn't even played since the last time he was with the Lakers

Would absolutely love to bring in Livingston. Even more if the Lakers draft Ball.

Similar body types would help mentor Ball in decision making, angles and positioning for a couple seasons. Knowing the system that Walton wants to run would benefit the entire team.

LOL @ Jodie Meeks still getting mentioned on this board. How about Earl Clark while we're at it.

I have been saying for a while Jodie Meeks would be a solid addition to our bench on a cheap deal. Go see how many guys on our roster right now shot over 36% from 3 and you will see why.

Multiple NBA sources believe Celtics are working on another deal. One told me: "Who cares about the protections? They aren't keeping them."

Pretty sure those picks are getting traded for someone, Butler seems like the likeliest option. But sure it could be someone else like PG.

So the NBA landscape is changing......let's just assume the Warriors take next year's title but in 2018 this is how the following rosters look, you can fill in the blanks.....who is in the best position to capture 2 rings or more......

Lakers
PG: Lonzo/D'Angelo
SG: D'Angelo/IngramAfflalo
SF: PG13/Ingram/Afflalo
PF: LeBron/Ingram/LNJ
C: DMC/Zubac

Golden State
PG: Curry
SG;Klay/McCaw
SF:KD/Iggy
PF:Draymond/Looney
C: Zack Randolph

Boston
PG: Isaiah Thomas/Marcus Smart
SG: Jimmy Butler/Avery Bradley
SF: Gordon Hayward/Josh Jackson
PF: Al Horford/Jae Crowder
C: Bamba/a Lopez Brother lol

Philadelphia
PG: Fultz
SG: JJ Redick/Stauskas
SF:Ben Simmons/Luwawu
PF:Saric/Okafor/Covington
C: Embiid/Okafor

Minnesota
PG:Kris Dunn/Rubio/T. Jones
SG:Zack Lavine
SF: Wiggins
PF: D. Favors/Dieng
C: Towns/Pek

Can't forget about the Spurs also....

This offseason I hope we draft Ball, get Livingston on $20 million 1+1 deal, and trade Clarkson/28/Moz for Lopez just so we're not giving the Celtics a good pick

They are saying its a done deal over here. In fact, the acquisition of Butler is the domino that gets BG. This is why the trade will happen sooner rather than later. The Celts feel that it would not hurt the trade package offered to Chicago by dropping from #1 to #3 (and they get an extra asset in return). I do not agree with that, but thats what I heard. Maybe the Bulls want JJ in included in the package and the Celts figured they could get him @ 3.

In 2019, Bradley/Smart will both be gone in all likelyhood. Also, in order to obtain Butler, they probably would have parted with the Jackson & Bamba picks, no? They would have Zizic, though, who seems like he has similar upside as Zubac. Definitely still a potent lineup, though.
