This is one of those great drafts, where especially the first 3 players can all be difference makers. Fultz can be that great scoring guard, Ball the Jason Kidd like floor leader, and Jackson as the good defensive sg/sf that can also hit from the perimeter. I like whoever we get, I think who we want really depends on what the front office thinks of who we have now.
Does getting Fultz or Ball mean they are not happy with Russell's leadership, will they trade him or move him to sg?
Does getting Jackson mean they are not satisfied with Ingram at sf? Does Jackson/Ingram mean they will not pursue PG13? _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

Is he though? Isn't that the million dollar question?
Different players. Different skill sets. Depending on which you prioritize causes you to lean towards one player or the other. IMO each has valuable skills they can add to the team chemistry.
Fultz may be the higher rated player but I do not think it is as big a separation as some continue to advocate. With Ball rating higher in certain areas. Just depends on what you prefer. |

Nice post. Agree with the sentiment that all three add significantly to the roster, just in different ways.
Also that this is just step one of an insight into what Magic and the FO is planning. The first time we see any practical indication of the path they will start taking to rebuild the Lakers. Can't wait to see them start making decisions, moves and revealing the plan. |

Trade down with philly if they want fultz. Receive #3 pick + an additional asset(draft pick or player) _________________

How would Fultz and Russell play together? Seems like more of the same Clackson/Russell chemistry. |

I think they're both terrific talents and quality kids. I could root for either one. |

Fultz is an unselfish player with good vision and passing instincts. They both have experience playing both SG and PG would be interchangeable on and off the ball.
Never going to happen though. |
