Flexibility is one of the keys to a good team. If you can put out a small lineup that can be more effective, then do it. If you can't do it effectively, then don't. It all depends on the matchup...and there are a number of teams out there against which you can certainly experiment that. We did it a bit with GP and Fish a couple years back. Now that we have more PG depth, you can play with that a bit to create situational advantages.

3. Radmanovic surprises me with how many defensive deflections he gets.

Yeah, he has been pretty active in that regard. Remember, the Lakers wanted to get into the passing lane more and worked on that in early training camp. Vlad Rad has really placed himself well in the team D schemes so far and used his size to cause problems. Hopefully, it's a trend that sticks.

Great to hear that Luke is starting to find his offense and improve his D. He always was a smart player and it seems hes finding ways to improve every aspect of his game. He could become a VERY valuable asset to the Lakers in the future.

That is so true.

Luke seems to be becoming that type of asset before our eyes. He's a totally unselfish player, who plays hard and is becoming increasingly confident. As a Laker fan, its a beautiful thing to watch unfold.

Radman and Vujacic sound like players that are going to be those pesky defenders for us. Not going to lock down their man but through effort and using their size on smaller players (Sasha is 6'6 on PG's and Radman is 6'10 on SF's) they may get a number of TO's for the team or some help D plays.

Hey, not ideal but certainly better than a Peja who would add offense but do nothing on D.

Shammond showed some signs of life. What was he 5 for 5 on field goals? Two were threes. He scored 12 points.

From the L.A. Times article (today: Tuesday), it gave the impression/suggestion that the Lakers might not keep Sasha for the long-term - is there something brewing or is it just a writer trying to keep his readers' attention?

One would think that McKie, Cook, Pinnock, Green and others are on the bubble
