Any chance proposed Dlo trade has some contingency (i.e. pG trade going through etc)?

I obviously don't like dlo as others do but that trade makes no sense unless there is something else happening

It opens cap space. How else do you expect them to sign George or others? It makes sense, you had to get rid of Timothy's contract

I highly doubt this is the case... but ideally there was a contingency or even Tmo fails the physical. I don't care for this cap space plan.

To answer your question..You play Deng more mins, at PF, attach Randle + 2018 Denver 2nd + 2018 Chicago 2nd to Mozzy this summer. Stretch Deng.

I noticed the NBA Draft board on ESPN still showing the 27th pick is owned by the Nets.

Will be interesting to see who makes the pick.

Would NJ draft for Lakers if trade hasn't gone through?

NJ owns the pick until the draft ends (or trade is finalized). They choose on Lakers behalf

I bet part of the agreement was trying to make it a 3 team. That's not yet happened clearly so I imagine they would pick who we like and then complete the trade with or without Indy.

I'm rooting for Prok and Marks to go back on their word and keep Lopez.

the trade did wonders to the Lakers instantly... brought an all-start C, opened up a spot for Ball, improved team chemistry, and coaches can now concentrate on coaching without a smart ass second-guessing their every decision.

He's gone. Trades are unofficial only because they have to go thru paperwork and players have to pass a physical.

Hopefully the trade wasn't official because we were squeezing another asset out of them

That is one case where a back out is likely.

At least do it the right away..

Ball, Russell, Mozzy or Ball + Lopez + 27

Russell and Ball could and should have played together.
